I have rubber backed rugs in my entry/hallway and they slip horribly. I had high hopes that this additional layer of rubber would keep them in place, but it really doesn't. The rugs slip LESS, but still need to be adjusted maybe twice a day.

This is my second purchase of a rug pad from this company. Being pleased with the first purchase, I acquired a second in order to keep the rugs from slipping on our hardwood floors. This was a prevalent problem as our grandchildren tend to scamper around the house. This rug pad helps keeps the rugs in place. It does not slow down the grandchildren!

Unfortunately as I was moving some things around in our spare room I realized that we had used cheap rug pads under a couple throw rugs. The kind of pad material you’d get from a chain thrift store. The pads had become stuck to our painted floors. Even after my best efforts to clean off the mess, residue remains. I wish we had used these pads throughout the house! I bought them for other rooms and they do not ruin the floors.

I bought this rug pad because it is natural rubber and I did not want to damage my hardwood floors. I left it for a couple of weeks in one spot on the floor and then moved it to a different place. There was no damage to the floor, but I noticed that the spot where the rug was sitting was VERY slick. I think the rug pad mustt have caused this problem, as I can't think of any other reason why it would happen
