Great mesh, cleans pool well.
I’ll start with the extending handle. I did have an issue connecting it to the net so I’ll explain how I managed it. When the product arrived the metal bits on the end of the extending pole where slightly bent and it wouldn’t connect into the bit with the net. I had to remove the plastic clip from the net end of the pole and slightly bend back the metal on extending pole so I could slide the plastic in place then re insert together. Maybe this is how you’re supposed to do it but there wasn’t any instructions and it wasn’t obvious how to make it connect so if your struggling please persevere and try it my way. Please see photos. The length of the pole is decent for my 8ft pool and the net does an excellent job of removing any debris/insects from the water. It is a little flimsy at the end but just have to be gentle. The sections of the extending pole tighten when twisted. Once I solved how to connect the two pieces I was very happy with the product.

Good for a little while, terrible thereafter!
Versus other Mole repellents we've tried and weeks later refunded, this one actually seems to be working so far. We still have the odd one or two that appear every few days, though considering the dozens and dozens of soil hills we had to endure daily, and the fact we do have a good deal of land, I really can't complain!I've probably jinxed it now, but our battle against the Mole (in a humane way) is beginning to turn in our favour!Edit - As of December 2021.The Moles are back with a vengeance! Having spent well over £100 on these, I honestly wish we could get our money back. Granted we have a lot of land versus a small back garden, but the area which we used these repellents (eight of them too!) are teeming with new and very large hills, some of which are right next to these devices. For a short time I thought we had nailed it. Sadly I was wrong. Avoid like the plague!!

Absolute rubbish
This product just doesn't work. Absolute rubbish. Don't waste you money on this or similar products if you have a problem with voles.Within 1/2 hour of switching them on there as tunnelling activity within 200mm of one of the devices and later, activity commenced within 100mm of the other. The following day tunnelling was apparent right next to one probe. I checked to ensure they were operating and they were. Just wish I hadn't wasted £30.Not sure if I can believe any of the other positive reviews!

It works
Make sure you charge it in the daylight for a couple of days, had 2 packs of 2/pack started with 2 only and placed at furthest place they had reached and after a couple of days moved them forward towards the woodland, hopefully done the trick , been clear for 2 weeks

They don’t deter moles
Have had 4 of these deployed as per the instructions for 3 weeks now, and on average are still getting 3-4 new moles hills each night, exactly the same as over the 2 previous months. So for our moles at least, a waste of money. They also emit a vary audible buzz, as opposed to frequencies inaudible to human hearing, which a previous version we had did. So, overall, a waste of time.

Great for getting rubbish off your pond
It works well for removing leaves and other debris off the top of the pond, however there is one design flaw. If you have your pond covered by netting (which I do - too many seagulls looking for a quick meal), to lock the pole into the skimmer head there are two buttons on springs to hold the pole secure. These are in the vertical side (i.e in relation to the head which obviously is used on the horizontal plane) and protrude above the pole surface. Since there's one on both sides, they invariably get caught in the netting and make getting the skimmer in and out a bit of a pain. If you don't have a net over your pond these pins do hold the skimmer secure so you shouldn't have a problem.

POND
Net was icing on the cake for fish pond maintenance. We have two mature trees which 'make' our garden but target our pond. Debris not easily removed naturally sinks to the bottom and we have parted company with many expensive 'well designed' nets as they have been damaged when trying to avoid bringing out the pond vac. too often. The plastic edge on the net enabled a quick and effective scoop of what was a large amount of matter from the pond floor. For those wondering why it gets to that stage - it is an oblong 300 year pond with concrete base and small wall round. The pond is fully netted with the finest product. It is maintained with a large filter, pond skimmer, blanket and sludge clear solutions and a sizeable pond vac. We still suffer from a large amount of bottom debris but this net seems the to have got the problem nailed from what we removed with the add of the plastic edge within just minutes.

Effective
Prior to this I had an old kitchen sieve taped to the end of a bamboo pole. This is so much more efficient. Having a flat side it's easy to collect the odd leaf that has made its way to the bottom of the pool. Log enough to reach the centre of a 16ft circular pool and nice and compact when closed down and stored. Does what it says.
