RUWS=BLISS
The seller was great and shipping fast and on time. Happy customer!Short review: Excellent, crazy fun camera. Pick one up!Long, drawn out review: Buy one! The Reto Ultra Wide and Slim is a hoot to carry and shoot with. Super light and unobtrusive to carry anywhere. I did not understand the hype of the previous incarnations of this camera until I ran a few rolls through it. Super fun! You outta purchase one!I am still waiting on the lab to send my film back, maybe this week. I am quite familiar with the lo-fi/ Lomo aesthetic in film photography (Holga's, Dianas, pinhole, 110 format, etc.), but I expect to be pleasantly surprised by the results of the RUWS. The results of this camera view online are compelling, if my shots are half as good I will be over the moon.Even though I wish this camera had multiple exposure capability, and a hotshoe, and some exposure control, and on and on; I know in my heart it would ruin the experience. This is about as basic as it gets (a box that holds film) and it is up to me to use my skills and creativity as a photographer to create worthwhile photos. BTW, get one. No home should be without a RUWS!Even though I have a number of cameras at my disposal, the RUWS most certainly will get the nod often. You should get one! Steal it if you must, lol.In closing, just do it already. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

One of the best cameras ever
The Ultra Wide and Slim is one of the best little plastic cameras ever, and RETO has brought it back! I was looking for one of the original Vivitar versions, and when I discovered that RETO was making a new version, I immediately bought one. Its 22mm wide-angle plastic lens produces amazing photos with tons of vignetting, and if the sun is in the shot, it has some ridiculous lens flare if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s small enough to carry around in your coat pocket or bag, so you can always have it with you. There’s no flash, so the Ultra Wide and Slim is definitely an outdoor daytime camera. Will it produce one of your best photographs ever? Or will it implode under the stress of its own plastic existence? You don’t know! (It probably won’t implode - none of mine have, and I’ve had several.) But it’s worth the risk. Get one! (FYI, if you’re familiar with the old Superheadz version, this new RETO version does NOT have the soft-touch finish that turned the Superheadz cameras all sticky over the years. Instead, the RETO has a dull matte finish.)

Overall Great!!
This is basically a glorified disposable camera, and I mean that in the best way! It’s super compact and shoots nicely. It does feel pretty flimsy and cheap but I love how I can slip it in my pocket for easy transport. Also it doesn’t shoot very well in low light. Worth it!

Don't buy this camera
This product is a great example of 'you get what you pay for.' I have used many cameras over the years and I was looking for a small, lightweight, inexpensive camera for a backcountry trip because I didn't want to carry a lot of extra weight. This camera is both small and lightweight and low monetary cost, but the winding mechanism necessary to wind the film back so that you can remove the film roll DOES NOT WORK - in other words, my entire roll of film was ruined because it was left outside of the film canister at the end and I was unable to manually roll it back. A disposable camera would have been a better investment. I will never see the photos from my trip. If you care about the photos you plan to take, I would recommend buying something else.

worked for one roll of film
I was able to load and shoot my first roll no problem. Now trying to load film it won’t catch properly to wind - just the endless winding. I’m worried I won’t be able to use it again. It’s a great size and light enough to travel or carry everyday.

No flash
Other than it’s a 35mm camera it’s pretty much a hunk of plastic that really doesn’t take great pictures.

great little camera
I have over 20 different classic film cameras and this one is the most fun. I've modified the camera to accept filters. using a 34 mm to 49 mm Step Up Ring I now can use 49 mm filters. the step-up ring fits perfectly, using using 3M double-sided tape to fix the Step Up Ring to the camera. the Step Up ring blocks a portion of the viewfinder, so very carefully without affecting the threads, drill a 1/4" hole in the Step Up Ring so you can view the lower right-hand corner of the viewfinder. I developed my own black and white film so using yellow orange and red filters I can run iso 800 or 1600. black and white film . opening the door and loading film with this camera is very fiddly. I would suggest practicing you're loading technique, getting the film to load on the take-up spool is very tricky. work the shutter button a few hundred times to improve its release. this little guy is now my edc camera.

It simply doesn’t work.
Every roll of film I used in this camera was ruined or blank. The camera simply doesn’t work at all. I spent lots of money mailing film to be developed and both the camera and that process was a waste. Don’t buy this camera. I’ve tried many things to make it work and it just doesn’t.

Carinissima come soprammobile.

No pesa nada!
