SKLZ Pro Mini Showtime Basketball Hoop with Ball

I purchased this as a gift for my basketball-loving nephew when he turned 8. It came out of the box ready to use and was easy to install over the door. He plays all the time!

I love this hoop but there were a few bugs with the speaker and led lights but other than that well ahipped, and definitely worth its price.

Cool Mini Hoop. My daughter loves it, even comes with its own remote for the lights! Easy to put togteher and very sturdy.

SKLZ was definitely chasing excellence when they created this hoop and they may have just caught it.This is quite possibly the best mini basketball hoop ever made, no exaggeration. It is electronic, with voices, shot clock and cheering. The LED lights are controlled by the remote, you can set it to a color or have it fade into different colors, the net is made out of a shoelace thick material, the ball is made out of a durable rubber (it is smaller than some of the lighter balls you get with other sets), but you immediately feel the quality.You can turn off the hoop using the remote, you can turn off the voices from behind the backboard and have it still keep score, the score goes up to 99 before it resets to 00. It is super easy to put together and has a built in sensor right under the hoop.What is not to love, what could they have possibly left out? I have another electronic hoop that pales in comparison to this one and they were in the same price range. The look, feel and features of this hoop definitely lives up to its namesake; showtime.

I like how the SKLZ Pro Mini Basketball Hoop works. It is a much better mini basketball hoop that I have had in the past. This seems high quality to me. I really like the lights on it. Although I am confused about the "time" that you can reset, because there is no time indicator from what I can see. You can see a light up score through the backboard. There is a sensor in the backboard, so when the ball falls through, it passes by the sensor to count the two-point score. You can change the color of the lights around the backboard and have the lights alternate with different modes.The rim is a good quality metal rim with a net on it. It works well with the small ball. I don't fill the ball up so much that it has a lot of bounce. I leave it somewhat soft. I like that you are given a pump and a needle to air up the ball.The main issue that I have, is that I have to close my office door to use it very effectively. I have a small office, so I don't toss it from far. It makes some noise with short tosses, but not bad.It is good quality, but you do pay for it.
