I purchased this and had it programmed professionally. Only to find out that the battery is low two days later. Now I have to go back and get a new battery installed.

!!This clearly looks like it was used or it was returned before!! So I was able to at least used the shell and nothing else and transfer my old circuit board with the old battery!!!👈

So far so good. I got this to replace a lost Fob for my 2014 Dodge Durango. I originally called the dealer who wanted $200 for the Fob and an additional $95 to program it. For $20 I thought I'd give this Fob from Amazon a shot. I called three Ace hardware stores to see if they would program a customer supplied Fob. Only one of them would, the other two would only program the Fob that they sell for about $175, still a bargain compared to the dealer. So for $50 I got my fob programmed and key cut, it took about 10 minuets. Every feature works as good as the original, couldn't be happier.A follow-up on this review, changed to 1 star. Four days after I wrote the review, I was in a shopping center parking lot, when I tried to start the car I just got a massage on dash board, " No key FOB detected". The car would not start, the FOB still worked for unlocking and locking the doors and Panic button but nothing else. Had to call my wife to bring the original key, and the car started right up. This FOB does not hold its programming. Do not buy.

Glad to be able to have a spare for my 2012 dodge journey

I bought 2 of these and had them programmed. One of them I tested out and randomly every couple of days, it would not detect the FOB and only will lock/unlock the door. What worked was removing/reseating the battery every time and it stays OK for may a day or two. Now the other one has worked fine for 2 weeks solid now, so I think one of these just did not work right. Not sure if it's the programing or just a bad chip.Hoping the seller is aware of this and has a solution.

After purchase locksmith was needed to program fob and cut a new key for my car, it worked and costed $180… but now 2 weeks later the unlock, lock and panic buttons don’t work. My car still recognizes the key when I am holding it the doors still unlock when I grab the handle and the car still starts. Due to the overall cost of the locksmith and key purchase combined I won’t be getting this replaced just using it as is. Also be aware the locksmith won’t guarantee the fob because you didn’t buy it from them. Unless you can do this on your own, including carving the key, just go to the dealer. It’s gonna be expensive either way. At least then you’ll get some kind of guarantee.

Tested out this cheap fob to see if we could just get cheap ones instead of OEMLasted programed for 4 days. Days prior to that it would suddenly tell me "key not detected".Won't lock or unlock the truck.
