Water Right 400 Series Polyurethane Garden Hose, Drinking Water Safe, 25-Foot x 7/16-Inch, Brass Fittings, Eggplant

This hose is more expensive than other other garden hoses available. But this is an item that you really get what you pay for. As most people probably agree garden hoses are just a whole lot of trouble. This one though is easy to maneuver around because it is light weight but still is sturdy like larger hoses. It does not kink easily so this is one less hassle as well. The fittings are of high quality so there is no trouble making connections. The colors are pleasing to the eye so even if you leave it out when you don't want to take the time to roll it up when you done for the day. The smaller diameter of the hose really does not seem to significantly lessen the water pressure as I have found using other smaller diameter hoses. This hose makes watering less of a task.

Best hose ever! Extremely light and easy to move even when full of water. They are very tough. I expect mine to last for many years. They have a small diameter but that doesn’t effect the water pressure or volume. They don’t kink but they can coil. They can be difficult to wrap up on the hose hanger. Take off any nozzle you’ve attached and untwist/uncoil as you go. Their lightness makes it easy once you get the “hang” of it.

This is the lightest hose and perfect for my 20x20 foot garden plot. Anything bigger than that or if it’s a long way to spout get the larger size. I almost wish I had gotten next size up but honestly this is so perfect and so lightweight it’s shocking! It fit a sprinkler attachment and watering wand I had so no issues there. I ordered eggplant just in case it turns colors since it’s out in the elements. So easy to use, even if it doesn’t last forever it would be worth buying another one. Ecstatic about this purchase!

I spent hours reading garden hose reviews (I don't have a life), before buying this one. It's better constructed than I expected it would be, is extremely lightweight, and is very easy to handle. I'll see how it performs over the winter and update this review if it doesn't make the cut.

I bought this hose in eggplant, which looked in the photo to be a sort of maroon color. Turns out it's bright purple! Wish I had ordered the olive green instead... but other than the color it's a great hose -- very lightweight, easy to use, and works well with my garden sprayer despite the narrower diameter.

I've had this hose installed for about 11 months now. It is left laying out in full California sun all year around. Here are answers to questions that I had when looking for a lead free hose:1. Has not kinked in any way yet2. No leaks, no stretching3. No rusting detected on the fittings4. It's not literally sticky, but the material has a bit of tack that makes it cling (only slightly) to other plastics. It's still easy to maneuver but take getting used to.5. No plastic odor in the water.6. It was briefly mentioned by Lead Safe Mama, a long time anti-lead activist. Only mentioned and not yet tested, so take it with a grain of salt.It was a gamble for me because of the mixed reviews, but it worked out. Maybe those who had bad experiences got bad lemons. I am thinking about buying the 50ft to replace another aging water hose. The price is a bit hefty, but I guess it's worth not having carcinogens in my water. I hope this helps.

Slim design is great. No complaint or comments about durability yet.

We have two of these urethane hoses now. We love them. Pricey? Yes, but they are easy to handle and do not tend to kink up. They coil up small and light for ease of storage in the RV and provide more than enough water flow for our use in the RV. I will never again buy any of those cheap, big bulky white hoses that kink like crazy and fall apart in a few years. -- After reading some of the more recent views, I'm amazed at the number of people who can't seem to operate a hose. We're doomed.

This hose leaked immediately. Water spurts out from between the plastic of the hose and the metal fittings.It was securely screwed onto our tap, and engaged the seal easily, but still leaked no matter how tight it was fitted.This was extremely disappointing because this product would have been perfect for our needs, such a shame.

Very light and easy to use. Seems to be made out of solid material and fittings.

Lightweight as advertised even when under water pressure, and the water pressure is strong despite the narrower hose. Stores easily, especially helpful for seniors who enjoy gardening.
