NECA - Coraline - Prop Replica 10" Coraline Doll

The doll is super well made, with great details and quality materials. The yellow raincoat and button eyes are a great touch. It looks just like in the movie. I loved it!

The media could not be loaded. My youngest daughter and I are both HUGE coraline fans and I bought her this doll for her 10th birthday!!! She ABSOLUTELY loved it and cried at her party when she opened it!!! The doll is a GREAT price for not only being coraline but all the detail on her!!! She has so much detail and looks so original that it’s hard to not stare at her and compare looking for any kind of issues that’s how amazing she is!!! She’s about the side of a Barbie in height and she’s solid as far as weight about the weight of a jawbreaker on the top half and Barbie like weight from the neck down!!! Her hair is real yarn/ string not just plastic that’s painted which my daughter loved!!!! She is the perfect gift for a little kiddo who loves coraline or a collector even!!! I would buy this doll all day long!!!!! 10/10 YES!!!

After I saw the movie Coraline a few years ago, I immediately hoped that they would come out with a button-eyed doll like in the film. After waiting awhile, I was glad to see they finally created one and I ordered it. It was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. It is very good quality and very detailed. It is also quite heavy which surprised me. I especially liked that the face looks like it is made of fabric but is actually very hard and sturdy. The rest of the body is soft and bendable. The raincoat is lined with wire so that it can be opened and closed easily while still keeping its shape. I don't find this to be a problem but the hood of the raincoat does not fit over the dolls head (just so you know). Two things it says on the box which isn't listed in the description is that it is limited edition and it is also an authentic movie prop replica. I disagree with the product description that it is appropriate for children 5 months and up. This is absolutely WRONG. There are small buttons on it that a child could choke on. It even says on the box that it is for ages 14 and up probably because it is more of a collector's item and not a toy. I gave it three stars for durability (even though mine hasn't broke or anything) because it seems to be delicate and would most likely break if played with too roughly. Overall I gave it five stars because I was very happy with it because it is very detailed, seems to be well made, and looks just like the doll in the movie. If you are a Coraline fan, you will absolutely love this doll!

Nice size, Good quality good representation of doll in the movie

I just received this doll in the mail today, and I love it already. The box was in perfect condition, and the doll looked just as I imagined it would. The body can be posed, the head can be turned, etc. I believe the base is made of some sort of metal wiring to help it keep its pose, but there isn’t anything sharp/dangerous about it.The head is made of some sort of heavy clay material perhaps? I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children, as I doubt it would withstand being dropped or thrown around. However, for a teenager or older, it would be just fine. It’s a bit difficult to get the doll to sit up on its own without being leaned against something, just as a warning to anyone who wants to sit it on a shelf. The head is a little heavy, and it’s inclined to fall backwards or forwards if left sitting up alone.Beyond that, it’s a wonderful little doll. Just a side note, not that I was bothered by this or anything, but the jacket does have a blue/grey hue towards the bottom, and the shoes are a bit similar on the fronts by the laces. Again, I don’t mind, but I know some people may find that troublesome.And a little tip too, if you have trouble removing the jacket, moving the doll’s arms back behind it can help a lot. The jacket fits very well, and it may be a little difficult to get the sleeves over the hands when removing it. Just be gentle, or you may tear the stitching of the arms.

My daughter loves this movie and was Coraline for Halloween and this just made the outfit. It is not a cheap doll, but it is high quality and very cool. I wish it had a stand so it can be displayed better since it's so cool. It is too top heavy to stand on its own.

This doll is very detailed and she looks just like the doll being made to look like Coraline by the Other Mother in the opening scene of the movie. She is closer to 9.5 inches tall rather than a full 10 inches tall, but she comes with everything shown in the picture on Amazon (bendable raincoat, black skirt, orange and pink striped shirt). You can take her raincoat off, but her skirt and her shirt are sewed on. Also her raincoat has spots on it that look like dried mud from playing outside; don't worry it's supposed to come that way.This doll would be great for displaying or for a Coraline Halloween costume. She seems to be well made (her head is surprisingly heavy), but this doll is a collector's item and isn't meant to be a toy. Her hands and especially her shoes are delicate and would likely break/fall off if she was played with regularly by a younger child. There are also small pieces that could fall off, like the buttons on her raincoat if she was played with too roughly.Overall I'm satisfied with this doll (she is really cute), but I wouldn't suggest paying an arm and a leg for her like some customers have. I noticed I payed significantly less for her than other Amazon users (some have paid $60+) because the price fluctuates often (I've heard NECA charges more for collectibles sold online), but I would suggest waiting until the price goes down. If you can wait do it because even though she is a nice collectible, this doll isn't worth $60.

The coolest figure i have seen, a gift to my girlfriend and she loves it, this dall is very well made definitely worth it's cost. Its about the size of my four arm
