Fun puzzle to complete
It was fun to make, but like a lot of puzzles it had a lot of puzzle dust that gave my son allergies.

Very good but not great
I have several other SunsOut puzzles and generally love them. "Fairy Tales" and "College of Magical Knowledge" are particularly great. First of all, Jigsaw Puzzle Brands Compared rates this company an A, and all the criticisms I list here still leave this puzzle well above-average.The pieces in this puzzle seem slightly less thick than their others, with slightly deeper cut between pieces (which sometimes makes it hard to match them up). A few times, pieces have fit perfectly in shape and almost color but later discovered to have been the wrong match. The art is very pretty, but zoomed in so much you can see the artist's brush strokes (and will sometimes use those to match pieces). Like College, this puzzle has many regions with similar visual appearance. In the attached photos, you can see I've gotten to a point where there are large very dark and very light regions left to fill (especially the tree in the middle right). All the pieces in these regions are nearly indistinguishable in color hue and saturation, and it's about a quarter of the puzzle. So I'm going to be finishing the last 25% of the puzzle based on shape and brush strokes more than anything else -- it makes it less interesting for me, personally. The rest of the puzzle was more fun and challenging -- many different shades of orange that ended up belonging to parts I wasn't expecting at first, etc. I think their other puzzles are fantastic, but this puzzle falls slightly short for me. Still better than most other puzzles out there, however.

Missing a piece, sadly
Love the puzzle but a piece was missing. I am using various puzzles in a project I'm working on and was disappointed that a piece was missing. I have only had one other puzzle where this happened. It wasn't dropped, it's missing :(Overall picture is so good but wish I could fix the hole in it.

Lovely artwork and quality construction
I love Sunsout puzzles and this one doesn't disappoint. The pieces are sturdy and the imaging firmly attached, meaning no broken/bent piece or peeled images. I love that these puzzles are made in the USA and are eco-friendly. The price is wonderful for a puzzle of this quality. The pieces are cut at random making this puzzle challenging. I also bought the Smaug and Flight of the Fablemaker puzzles at the same time; this puzzle is easier than the other two but not too easy. The colors are accurately printed and vibrant.

and I'm thoroughly happy with the product
When I initially attempted to put the puzzle together I found that a couple of my puzzle pieces were torn. I contacted the company via email (there was a card inside the box) requesting a replacement because I couldn't finish the puzzle. They responded very quickly and sent me a new puzzle within a few weeks. This one doesn't have any torn pieces that I've found, and I'm thoroughly happy with the product.

Very challenging puzzle!
Really enjoyed this puzzle. It had challenging pieces and a wonderful picture which made it very fun to solve. There was a missing piece but since we've got a few cats that may have been the problem! All in all a wonderful puzzle.

The puzzle was really beautiful as far as the picture goes
The puzzle was really beautiful as far as the picture goes, but the pieces are extremely irregular making it difficult to complete and thus frustrating. This information was not listed in the description nor was a sample puzzle piece shown on the front. If you like strange puzzle cuts then you will love this.

Excellent Quality and Price
This puzzle was so hard, I had to walk away a few times but is gorgeous when finished, which I did in 3-4 days. It is extremely challenging to your brain as the pieces fit differently and the subtle nuances in color are hard to see unless in daylight. I moved the table under my window and worked in the sun. I loved it so much I've ordered two more. Great for families to do together.
