Works really well. Very flexible. Easy to set up.

This model of signal generator is much more than I need for hobby use. But I wanted to get a Siglent to match my other test equipment which is also made by Siglent. Generator has a nice display and is easy to use. Also stackable with my Siglent bench multi-meter.

I only received this unit today, and took a relaxed tour of the functions, settings, etc and found this is a very easy to use device. My applications is a retiree med device engineering tech, now on home tinkering bench with a definite slant on audio equipment building and light servicing. I worked medical device electronics for a good long while, and used some pretty sophisticated gear back when, I’m sure this unit has specs not holding up to the “big dogs” in industry, but for what it is, it’s a bargain in my opinion. Good solid case, got some “heft” to it, so there's either a good deal of hardware inside, or a lump of lead, but it is not a cheap plastic box. Clear instructions, (download the manual). Comes well packaged. I’ve personally not ever had a function generator beyond a sine/square box, decided to buy something better for myself, and glad I did. For my needs, this unit really covers the job, definitely exceeds my expectations at this price point.
