these are much nicer than the red and black plastic ones, in my opinion and not expensive. i have a larger, very smooth operating shut off on my riding mower, but it cost 10 dollars apiece. For smaller applications, this is nice

These are the correct size, 1/4” unlike some of the others out there that are 6mm. And they hold pressure very well.
