work as they should
i can't find the ones with the crisscross to keep the sensor secure any more so I've had to fall to these. They work well to keep the sensor's adhesive attached longer. Normally these will start to fall off in a week and by two, you have to do maintenance (adding liquid adhesive) or start to cut pieces off

Prolongs sensor life
The simpatch has allowed me to double the wearable life I get out of my CGM sensors. I put a simpatch on right after installing a new sensor (I wear the sensor on my leg, I think the adhesive wears off more quickly when wearing the sensor in this location than compared to a stomach). The simpatch lasts me about a week before it's peeling away enough for me to need to replace it. At that point the patch has peeled away almost enough to expose the edge of the sensor adhesive portion. The sensor adhesive portion is still fully seated/stuck against my skin because the simpatch keeps it planted pretty well (If I don't wear a simpatch the sensor adhesive hardly makes it a whole week). When the simpatch starts to unstick I've had good luck removing the simpacth without disrupting the adhesive portion of my sensor, and then I can put another simpatch on top of the sensor and get another week out of wearing the sensor. The couple bucks cost in simpatches over two weeks helps me save the $100+ it would cost to change sensors. I plan on continuing to use simpatches in the future.

Great reinforcement for Dexcom CGM
Love these. I will definitely re-order. I used the Op-site transparent tape before these and liked that too. But these are more convenient and they look better on. I usually keep a Dexcom sensor on for 3 weeks. The first week it sticks on its own just fine. After about a week it starts pulling up and I reinforce it with a patch. I usually need to reinforce again after another week. Because the op-site was clear, the tape, edges and whole site started looking a little dirty. These do get a little ragged around the edges after a while, but they still look good enough. It's when the edges start lifting after about a week, (which seems normal to me considering how much exposure they get to water, sun, clothes, etc.), that I will switch it out. It's a little tricky getting the old one off without pulling out the sensor. But still do-able. It did take me a few uses to figure out how the best way (for me) to apply these, but once they're on - they stay on great.

Nearly perfect
Quite good — nearly perfect. However, two changes might be useful in a future version:1. A stiff, rectangular “collar” around the interior opening (where the G5 transmitter pokes through). This would aid placement.2. Small “handles” on each half of the adhesive backing, that stick out a little past the outline of the patch. The idea here would be to be able to fit the patch around the sensor, with the backing still on the adhesive, and then slowly pull the backing out from under the patch. This would help eliminate stretching & wrinkling/creasing around the edge of the patch.Otherwise, great product.

Stays on the best through sweat, showers and swimming!
So far, we are happy with our purchase! They seem to stay on the best, fromthe products we have tried since my son's relatively recent diabetesdiagnosis in December. They are much stickier than anything we have used inthe past few months. My son is a very active 12 year old who plays hockeyand football and also attends strength/agility classes at our gym. TheSimpatch has been able to stay in place, without the edges curling down, with all of the sweat, showers, and swimming (we have a pool). Here is my suggestion. Being a slim, fit, active child means that my sondoesn't have much skin real estate to work with. I wish you made smallersizes so the skin has less of an opportunity to become irritated afterbeing covered with the patch. He also uses it over his pump site, this areawould especially benefit from a smaller size patch since the cannula isquite a bit smaller than the CGM site. We rotate his sites constantly butthere is an over lap.I have tried cutting them down (my Doctor'srecommendation) but it doesn't work as well for me to get the clean edge.

Edges peel prematurely _ no way to replace without also removing sensor
I have average to dry, non-oily skin and apply a SimPatch w/ SkinTac to ensure adhesion. Even so, I can only get a few days out of the SimPatch at most. Because of this, I generally wait to apply the SimPatch towards the end of the sensors life only for added piece of mind. I also usually apply a patch prior to entering the water (swimming, wakesurfing, etc) or playing sports (hockey); the conditions are not extreme but are not ideal either, and I do sweat more than average. In regards to the patch however, the edge's generally start peeling up quickly, within the first day. Once that starts, the patch's adhesion deteriorates quickly. I find 'crud' accumulating under the edges that also help erode the adhesion. I do trim the edge's back as the peel up, but that does not help. For all of these reasons I am searching for a different (and probably more expensive- thats one plus of the Simpatch- its cheaper) CGM patch and would recommend a different brand for active, athletic people.

Simpatch is the best for CGM users.
I first bought Simpatch in December 2017 and have used it successfully since then. I have tried Tegaderm, medical tape, and SkinTac. I grew to have reactions and rashes from them all. Simpatch is a comfortable and durable patch I can put on immediately after putting on a new CGM sensor OR a few days into the 7 day window. If some part happens to peel up, i trim with scissors, but the surface area is big enough I don't worry about pulling it up.Most impressively, I was able to do a 75 minute heated yoga class, with a sensor and patch that had been on 6 days and THEY STAYED ON. I hadn't returned to heated yoga due to me sweating so much-my sensor came off during the class. These are not advertised as waterproof, but I am confident it will stay on, even if it has direct shower spray (I used to try to keep that side of the body away from direct spray).Great product! I would give extra stars.

Excellent quality tape
Highly recommend this tape. Most importantly people with sensitive skin this is the tape you need to use. No skin irritation. Adhesive is good usually last a week to ten days with getting it wet several times a day.

These don’t fit the G5
I bought these to use for the Dexcom G5 sensors and transmitters and they don’t fit properly around them. I’m going to have to cut the center whole to make it fit overtop.
