Triple Eight Skate-and-Skateboarding-Helmets Sweatsaver Helmet

This helmet is really comfortable, even more so after breaking it in. Extremely lightweight and the build quality is sturdy. In the attached photo I was going for a two stair ollie and took a spill, I can confirm this helmet with protect your head! I found this company through Skateboarder Mike V, so you know they're chill. My helmet is still holding up of course, but if I ever get another it will surely be from Triple Eight. Great product.

Fits perfect! Easy to put on and it doesn’t get too hot!

This helmet is deep, so if you don’t order a snug fit design it rides down and crushes your ears. Ear wells should be deeper, and the some should be about an inch more shallow.

The helmet felt great! Unfortunately I got home and noticed my sweat + orange strap had dyed my shirt orange.

Took my kiddo to a pro skate shop to be outfitted and the woman working there had a chip on her shoulder. She helped others and refused to help us. She said she thought we had COVID (we all were wearing masks and we were not sniffling or coughing or had any signs of illness) and to come back another day. We'll my kid had tryouts for roller derby and she was not going to be open again until tryout day. No problem, I wrote down the brands of all the stuff she carried and came to Amazon.com and found this here along with instructions on how to figure out what size to buy for my kid. Everything arrived in time for her first day of tryouts and everything fit. Plus we don't have COVID. Thanks Amazon. My kid is happy and gets to skate.

Great helmet

I was weary after reading some reviews about the sizing. I made sure to measure myself and then my girlfriend measured my head. We measured roughly one inch above my eyebrows and my head was 23.25 inches in "diameter". So, I ordered the X-large and when I first put it on, I have to say it was quite snug. I thought it was too snug at first and it was sitting too low on my head. I was disappointed to see that there were no thinner pads to exchange for the fatter pads inside the helmet, plus the straps around your ears DO NOT adjust like the video shows. After putting it on a few times, it seemed to get less snug and I put the helmet on so that it was about one inch above my eyebrows. When I did this, it felt better and my ears weren't being bent down at the tips. I'm going to keep this helmet, because I feel it will work well and it will "break in" over a few uses. I' still wish they included the thinner pads like the video shows. Pictures hopefully show the "fit", lack of room for ears, and the re's enough room to wear glasses. Sorry about the unshaven face, but I'm still dealing with a sunburn and I don't want to shave just yet.

Good fitting helmet that stays in place. The sweat saver band helps to absorb sweat and can be removed for washing and drying for hygiene purposes. Recommended!

Bought this for skateboarding, the sizing is a bit off, I went by their measurements but it's a lot smaller, if you are wanting a large..get XL
