Works for both PC and Mac (if DisplayLink is downloaded)
Worked well for 3 extended screens, both for PC and Mac. For Mac, DisplayLink needs to be downloaded. Believe this is always the case as Mac only seem to work with one extended screen without DisplayLink. I sent it back as I realised I didn't need this docking station if only have 3 extended screens. I managed to get Lenovo ThinkPad (Generation 1 I believe which only support two extra screens) to work with Mac (when DisplayLink is downloaded) to extend 2 screen, and then the 3rd screen connected directly with a HDMI cable to MacBook (for Mac need an HDMI to USB-C adapter) . Similar connection with the Lenovo laptop but the HDMI cable straight into the laptop. The only difference is that I now need two cables into the laptop/macbook instead of one cable if I use this docking station. I would buy this product again however if I need 4 extended screens.

Don’t expect a quick return through Amazon.
The device itself seems very premium and for the most part was really high quality. However, it didn’t fulfil my needs for it. It was to use triple monitors with a work laptop. Unfortunately to do this it needs additional drivers installed rather than out the box like the one I got to replace it. The device I would give 4 stars, great quality losing 1 star for the compatibility issue. I requested a return and returned it via amazons process the same day. I’m still waiting for my money back. Not for it to clear, but for them to actually send it. On the day their timeline implied it would be sent, I instead got an email telling me sorry there’s a delay with refunds and we can’t send you the money yet. It’s 3 days later and they still haven’t sent it. For the process for Amazon returns I would give it 1 star. It would have been zero stars, but he had other things where you have to print a return label, which nobody has the facility to do in this day and age.

This dock is a must have for 4 screens
Yes, it's expensive. But so are all the docks with 4 screens and dual ports for each of them. This actually seems to fall on the lower end of quad docks. This has worked perfectly for me every time, both with a laptop and a PC. Make sure you get a good quality USB-C cable if you need extras.

Works perfectly with M1 Macs!
After installing the DisplayLink driver software on my M1 Mac Mini, the Quad Docking station worked perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase.
