Great for fixing old battery packs.
My old drill battery would no longer hold a charge. I searched for a replacement but they cost too much. I decided to open the battery case up to see if the cells inside could be replaced. The tabs on these made soldering easy. They work with my charger and last a long time. Even better than the old battery. I plan on buying more soon to fix other battery packs.

revive my hand drill
My hand drill is more than 10 years old, it was good but gradually became useless because its Ni-Cd battery cells couldn't hold a charge. I find these sub-C size rechargeable replacement Ni-Cd battery cells and give them a try, replace 5 cells with my solder iron and some scotch tape. After charging for a few hours, my hand drill is back to normal, I'm very happy. I still have 1 new cell from these 6 cells as a backup. These are sub-C size, not C size. This is clearly mentioned in the product description. I have a picture (replacing the battery cells for my electric drill) to share but somehow don't find a way to upload. Anyway, just share my experience for now.

All good
Used these for a D & D blower/sweeper from the eighties. They don't build'em like that anymore. All batteries at correct voltage. All batteries had tabs. I was successful at soldering them together like the original battery combo. It took a few charges to bring them up to full power. I have my blower back. Battery life is on par with the ones a repair shop installed a few years ago. Good price, twice as many as I needed, but that was the combo with the best value. Good quality batteries in the correct size.

Poor Quality Tabs
I bought these to rebuild a small NiCd battery pack, and the quality was far below acceptable. Several of the welded tabs popped off with nothing more than light finger pressure. A properly welded nickel tab should require real force or pliers to remove โ these failed instantly. This isnโt just an inconvenience; weak welds can cause highโresistance joints, arcing, or pack failure under load. If youโre planning to solder or rebuild a pack, I would not trust these cells. The charging issues mentioned in other reviews may actually be caused by the poor weld quality, not the chemistry. I ended up disposing of the whole batch and buying higherโquality cells elsewhere.

The batteries tested at lower mAh rating.
The batteries tested at lower mAh rating for me. Still worked for my low drain application but I would have liked to see the rated 2200 mAh rating. I have tested the battery. If one searches they can find the testing.

New life to an old friend!
I've had this 18v cordless drill of mine for a VERY long time, and most of the time, it was the only cordless drill I owned. So it's seen me through countless number of projects...always been there for me like an old friend. A few years ago, as it aged and wouldn't hold much of a charge, I knew it was time to move on. I now have 3 other cordless drills! But after replacing the batteries in a cordless shaver, which brought it back to life, I got to thinking about that drill. I pulled the removable battery pack apart, and then found these matching batteries and decided to give it a try. Not an easy task rebuilding the battery pack so it fits back in the case, but when I did, I couldn't believe the results! This drill performs every bit as well as the other 3! It's got tons of power and lasts...well, I haven't yet reached to point in a project where the batteries have run down!

Batteries worked in rebuilding a 14.4V DeWalt battery pack.
Item shipped promptly and was as described. Batteries were used to rebuild a DeWalt 14.4V battery pack. Worked fine. Next time I will purchase new metal tabs. It was difficult using the old tabs which were sprung and were hard to solder. Time will tell how well the batteries hold a charge, but charge was initially strong and powered a drill just fine. Reviews were mixed, but the batteries worked fine for my application
