You can only fill it halfway if you want the seal to work.
I like the size and the sturdiness of these storage containers. The only reason I’m giving it a four stars is, the rubber seal can sometimes get stuck, making the item impossible to open.

ONLY 10 ounces
I weighed out 12 ounces of rice on a food scale and the lid won’t seal. These are not true to size. I tried again with 11 ounces, then 10 ounces — the lid wouldn’t seal until I got down to 10 ounces. Not loving the inaccuracy. Depending on what you’re storing, you’re not going to get the full use. I could only seal 5 ounces of coffee beans, not even half what I was hoping for.
