Not exactly cheap, but a fantastic candy choice.
These are some of the first m&m's that have come out in a long time that have me buying bags over and over again. Just the right amount of cookie and chocolate. They're great!

Good, but not better than the original
I can easily munch down the whole bag. They are super light an cripsy. Not never cookie like, closer to a rice crispy crunch.
