Cute once you get used to it
At first I thought I looked like a handmaid but I just needed to get used to the large visor. Protects face from sun well and it’s comfortable. Will need to plan with the elastic a bit as it’s either too tight and the visor slides up or it’s too loose and doesn’t want to stay on.

Great Hat!
EDIT: This is still a very cute hat, but be aware that the elastic in the back stretches out quickly with just regular use. If it gets wet at all, the elastic stretches out even faster. I’m trying to figure out how to mitigate this situation because the hat is still in perfect shape. Maybe a stitch or two will help. Be warned! As far as beach hats go, I have always worn one with a full brim. When lounging in the sun, that has caused problems for me comfort wise. I decided to take a chance on this hat. I liked that it has no brim in the back so I can lean back on the beach chair with ease. This purchase proved to be perfect. I have a larger head and there was ample room to adjust the hat comfortably. The brim in the front was quite large and provided protection for my face. Because there is no top, I did sunburn my scalp and had to wear a bandana scarf on my head under the hat for my remaining vacation. (It still looked cute!) I also had to be diligent with the sunscreen on my neck and ears in order not to burn since there is no back brim. Overall, I thought this hat was very cute and served the comfort purpose I was looking for. This is a win!
