Expensive, but keeps your powertrain warranty going
This is the RAM-specified lubricant for out 2024 Ram Tradesman 2500. Our inspection after purchase included a baseline drain/inspect/renewal of the lubricant at the 55K miles driven point that we received it. Original fluid was good, no particles, so we know that the turck's transfer case is not distressed, and also now is up to snuff with fresh lube. The 5 year/100K miles powertrain warranty that applies to our truck is kept valid by using the OEM-specified products, so we highly recommend this product.

The only fluid for your Borgwarner 44-44
I bought this fluid for my 2013 RAM 1500 with the BW 44-44. This is the only fluid you can use on that. The service manual says 1.4 liters or 3 pints capacity. That's exactly what mine took, so buy two bottles of this and you'll have a little left over. A very easy job if you know what you're doing. 20 minutes or less.

Wish it was cheaper or had aftermarket equivalent
Good stuff. 2 quarts is just enough for the BW44-46. This stuff sure stinks. Wish they were cheaper, or had a no-risk aftermarket equivalent. 30k mile change seemed early. Sticking with the book recommendation of 60k is a better idea for next time.
