Tramontina 3 Piece Deep Saute Set / Red

did not expect ceramic, I bought one years ago at Costco and it was Teflon, it has a beautiful splatter guard and my mother makes comments every-time she comes over and we are using it. The splatter guard fits the top perfectly and the metal mesh is stretched super tight like a tennis racket. I bought this mostly for the splatter guard as a gift for my mother. When she opened it I noticed it is now using a ceramic coating inside rather than my Teflon one. I can tell you that the older Teflon one has lasted 8 years in heavy rotation and nothing is peeling on it. And it has the same awesome splatter guard. Oh it also comes with a great fitting glass lid with a metal rim, which fits the pan perfectly and also gets used heavily. The top handle is very securely attached it has never gotten loose.

Good value and non stick surface is working well. The pan did have a mound in the middle which causes oil to pool around the edges of the pan. I pounded it flat with a deadblow hammer and block of wood and now it is flat! It is a light duty pan but I was tired of paying top dollar for non stick that doesn't last usually anyhow, so happy with the purchase

Fabulous pan and light too! I really like cooking with this pan. I have others in the set and despite its being a lighter pan it holds the heat well and cleans up like a dream. You have to take care of the interior, but like any good pan, it pays you back by cooking well and cleaning easily. As I've gotten older I decided to give away my old standard heavy stainless cookware and now love these ceramic lined ones. Much easier to lift and as durable. Thanks Tramontina!

The Tramontina pans are fabulous - I couldn't be happier with them. When I wore out my current pan, I bought this as a replacement. the spatter shield is a super useful tool that I didn't expect. Great product!

My husband loves it for making spaghetti. Yes, he's the spaghetti cook in our family.

I normally do not take time to review products I buy. But I have to say that I am very please with the Tramontina 3 piece deep saute set with lid and splatter shield. I have used this pan for about a month now. I am very satisfied with the non-stick surface! Well done Tramontina made in the USA!

This was bought as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law who asked for this type of product. They love the construction, the color and the durability as well as the added bonus of the splatter screen. Well-made and versitile, this should last them a long while.

Slight warpage right off the bat, nothing major but the center was clearly raised, oil would run to the sides. After 11 months, the non stick coating has started flaking in the middle of the pan. We took care of it, no rough cleaning, no metal objects, no high heat.. So since it barely lasted a year, I would say 2 stars and not worth the money. If i have to replace yearly I might as well buy a cheapo pan and expect it to fail.
