Almost all good here. It was very easy to install. Once on, the anti-glare effect not only works as before but better, it's even better in that regard, almost doubling from the screen and the protector. It also does not smudge from what I've seen, which was very welcome. The naked steam deck screen (for my 512 version) smudged so easily and was hard to get finger prints off properly. The one drawback, the every slight dulling effect on sharpness that the 512 has (and it's hard to notice) but that is slightly more still once you apply the screen. So it's like doubling down. Overall I like it. I have the antiglare and protection I wanted, I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn't smudge. Update: I've gotten this twice now, as I upgraded to the Steam Deck OLED. This is the easiest installation I've ever had with screen protectors. I've always had issues with bubbling and getting things perfect w/ other screen protectors but with this one -- both times it was incredibly easy and zero bubbles. Wish I could review it twice and give it 5 stars for both times, if I could I would.

I was hesitant to purchase a screen protector at first because 've got the 512GB model and wasn't entirely sure I wanted to lose the anti glare screen. After a little research, I found this matte tempered glass screen protector and was willing to pay just a bit more to get something that came highly recommended. I'm glad I did. Everything you need is included: the screen protector (which is well-protected), an alcohol wipe to clean the screen (in case you couldn't wait and already got fingerprints on the touch screen - not that I would do that...), a microfiber cloth to dry and remove any remaining dust, dust removal stickers for any pesky flecks, and a pair of super-handy temporary alignment tabs (more on these in a second). The glass is sized perfectly which makes it easy enough to align, but the aforementioned temporary alignment tabs make it even simpler. With these, you can hover the glass in place to get it just right without having to try and grab the edge (and leave pesky prints and dust under the protector). All in all, the process took maybe a couple of minutes (including registering for their lifetime Warrenton), which is easily time well spent to protect your investment. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone on the fence and I will absolutely be purchasing from magglass the next time I need a screen protector for anything.

I was a little hesitant buying this screen protector due to all the reviews saying that it doesn't fit quite right. I've got the 512gb model and I love the anti-glare screen, but I don't feel comfortable using a handheld device without a screen protector and I don't want to lose the anti-glare finish. So, despite some reservations I gave this screen protector a shot. I may have just lucked out or something, but this protector fits my steam deck perfectly! The entire display is covered and you can barely tell it's there. Application was flawless using the included instructions, touch screen functionality seems unaffected, quality and clarity of the display seem unaffected, and the anti-glare effect is great. On top of it all, this protector is WAY more resistant to fingerprints than the bare screen itself! Keep in mind that there's only one screen protector here, so you've only got one shot. With that in mind, this screen protector is priced a little higher than a lot of its competitors but I think it's absolutely worth the price. I couldn't be happier with it.

This thing went on super smoothly and I got zero bubbles on my first try which honestly never happens when I put on screen protectors. The anti glare effect works really well and makes a noticeable difference when you are playing near a window or outside. It does make the image ever so slightly softer but it is basically unnoticeable when you are actually in a game. The only reason I am not giving five stars is that I think the price should include two protectors instead of one.

I have a 512gb and a 64gb steam deck. I applied this screen protector to try and get close to the screen on the 512gb, and this just is not even close to it. The image loses SO much clarity, and there is haloing on bright objects against dark backgrounds. The pictures I added here are as IN FOCUS as possible, but it is a blurry mess both in pictures and in real life. Pictures that look sharp are the 512gb with no protector and the blurry ones are with the MagGlass on the 64gb. Things I will acknowledge: -- The anti glare is excellent... if that's all you care about, and will be doing a lot of gaming in sunlight, this is probably the way to go. The anti-glare is actually significantly better than the etched glass on the 512... it just comes at a massive cost to screen detail. -- Applying the protector was simple, and the fit is perfect -- IF you absolutely have to have anti-glare, this protector seems to be the best on the market, at least in Q4 2022. Hopefully someone realizes that the steam deck doesn't need the same level of anti glare that you'd have on a phone, and creates a product that finds a sweet spot between this and no anti glare.

So most people told me to go cheaper on the screen protector but I wanted to keep my anti-reflection on my steamdeck. Tbh the look of this, I think, is better than the stock screen and it doesn’t seem to finish the screen quality at all. It is hard to get grease/fingerprints off compared to other screens, doesn’t seem to effect touchscreen at all. Overall the look, feel, and value are all amazing, 100% would recommend

The quality of this screen protector is amazing! This product comes with some alignment tools in the box. This screen protector has some sort of anti glare technology that makes it really easy to play in places with a lot of light and a lot of effectiveness. It is sticky. When I applied mine, I managed to get no bubbles.

I was having an internal struggle if I should put a anti glare protector onto my anti glare Steam Deck screen. After reading multiple reviews I almost said no but as I watched my Steam Deck shipment date getting closer I panicked and purchased the protector and a case. After opening the Steam Deck and seeing that big screen I had major anxiety! Seeing that big screen just waiting to get scratched up. I decided to put the screen protector on. It took no more than a couple of minutes. It came with everything you needed and was very easy to install. No bubbles and fits perfectly around the screen. I’ve been reading it makes the screen look blurry. I only notice this on older games that maybe don’t have the modern graphics and colors of newer games. Once I turn on newer game I can’t tell I have the protector on. I have a buddy with the same 512 deck and we put them side by side. One with the protector and one without. The difference is so minimal as to blurry screen I can’t see why someone wouldn’t protect their screen. Touch screen works amazing with the protector on. Save yourself some worry and keep that screen looking fresh! Highly recommended! And great quality!

In the 5-10 seconds it took to take off the film from the back to putting it on my steam deck a particle landed directly in the middle of the screen. Due to how well the protector fits the screen (maybe 1mm off from being border to border) taking it off to try and remove that particle caused 1 edge to be slightly bent and now will not adhere. With my own inadequacy out of the way, I barely notice a difference in screen quality (some reviews would have you believe that you're looking at the screen like someone smeared Vaseline over it) and the anti glare works great. It was easy to install overall, I just wish that a single particle didn't get in the way, but I can't take points off for something that the product isn't at fault for.

This is the best screen protector I've tried for my Steam Deck OLED. Does exactly as it says it would, I can no longer see my face staring back at me when gaming in the daylight haha. Plus, the quality / clarity of the screen is barely affected with it on so I can happily enjoy my games knowing that my screen is protected. No bubbles either!

Good quality, super smooth and the fit is great; so great and tight my Steam Deck now looks like the higher tier with native matte display!
