Molton Brown Re Charge Black Pepper Anti Perspirant Stick, 2.6 oz

If you like the black pepper recharge scent, you'll like this product. I won't say that you won't sweat with it - you may. But, it basically does its job and the scent will cover up your funk. It is a solid white stick and has the associated issues - you may find those white streaks on your shirt on occasion. But, most products seem to do that. I don't mind that as much, considering it's worth those streaks not to have my underarms getting sensitive and smelling like chemicals.My biggest complaint is simply the cost. $30 for a stick of deodorant is not cheap, by any measure. But if you're sick of the drug store smelling products and the sometimes itchy/burning sensation that you get from those cheaper (inferior) products, this is worth a go.I'm actually a pretty big fan of the recharge scent. I haven't tried the new tobacco scent yet, but will probably give that a shot at some point too. Consequently, I won't say that this is going to be the last product I'll ever try. There will be others. But, in the end, this is a good product and I'll probably be buying it again.

I was a bit hesitant to spend so much money on deodorant, especially knowing that if I liked the product enough and continued to use it, this could become a sizable yearly expenditure. However, after reading all of the positive reviews I decided to give it a shot, and have to say it is worth every penny.Unfortunately I sweat enough that I definitely need an anti-perspirant. I've tried using aluminum-free deodorants in the past and they just didn't do the trick. For a number of years I even resorted to using Certain-Dri because of excessive underarm sweat, which seems to have subsided a bit over the years.This stuff smells AMAZING and also protects against sweat and provides extended protection. It's not an overpowering smell but definitely a great one -- my girlfriend even loves it. A little goes a long way, and there is no white residue.I can't believe I'm sitting here writing a review on deodorant, but shoot, this stuff is great. Can't recommend highly enough.

Maybe this product is good, but if the turning mechanism is broken, what good is it? I see I am not the only reviewer for whom this has happened. Fix the device. Ridiculous.UPDATE: Amazon replaced my mechanically defective product, and I must say, this is the best anti-persp/deodorant I have ever used. Fragrant smell (individual tastes), clean application, not caking, and effective. So, once the manufacturer fixes the mechanism so the odd consumer does not get a bad device, the actual product is very good.

I hate to put a bad review but I will: I have been buying this product for a while and I buy 6 at a time. I love long lasting not overwhelming scent. Classy, light and effective. The last bunch I ordered from amazon; opening twist mechanic part at the bottom is not working. Just twist and twist nothing comes out. Very frustrating as I was going to an important all day meeting and in a different city you have no time to purchase anything else made me decide never this expensive product again.

I normally use Degree which has a higher alum content then this one by almost 5% and after the 2nd use which i like to shower at night and put it on before bed, throughout the night my underarms kept hurting and when i looked in the morning they were bright red. I have used antiperspirant for 22 years now and once clinical version came out i started using them and also tried degree 48 hours and this is the only one i have ever had a reaction too. Not worth the money, but at least Amazon has a great return policy so I did not loose any money, but if you have ever had a reaction before I WOULD NOT TRY THIS, SAVE YOURSELF THE PAIN AND TROUBLE!!

First, I loved this stuff the first time I got it. Works great and has an awesome smell. However, the next one I got, they smashed the turn-dial inside and I couldn't raise the product for use, so I had to toss it. No big deal, right? Stuff happens. So, I bought another one. This time I could actually turn it, but the deodorant snapped off the inside turn shaft near the end and I estimate I lost about 1/4 of the product.It really is great deodorant, but at $22, I'm going to have to pass until they can figure out how to correct their product delivery to the point where I can use at least 90% of the product. The cheaper alternatives don't have a problem, why do you guys?

The scent and longevity is not bad but it's just too expensive. The main reason I wanted to try this over other cheaper products was because of the other online reviews I read and because of it's higher Antiperspirant properties. That being said I didn't see any difference in terms of sweat blocking between this product and the other cheaper options. Also I don't know what the designers were thinking while designing this product but closer to finishing it the stick part started breaking apart and falling on the bottom of the bottle. Paying $20+ for one stick I would at least expect to use it all.

I love Molton Brown, but in the last batch of these that I purchased, literally every one of the dials was broken and the product was therefore not accessible. Very frustrated; wound up throwing them all away. Something like $120 worth of product - worthless.
