Great idea, meh quality control
Just received the mount today, and was excited to give it a spin. Unfortunately, the iPhone 7/8 case isn't entirely compatible with my iPhone 8. The phone seems to fit in fine, but the side buttons on the case don't seem to make contact with the actual phone buttons. The dimensions between the two phones are only different by tenths of a millimeter, but I guess it's enough. I have zero desire to switch my phone between cases if I want to use it when riding my bike, so this is pretty much a deal killer as I regularly use the power/volume buttons.Otherwise, it seems great. The locking mechanism is clever and seems to work well. I'm impressed with how thin the case is, considering the locking area is integrated into the back. Pretty bummed this isn't going to work out for me as it seems like a quality product, but looks like I'm going to send it back.Edit:I decided to play around with the case a bit more to see if I could get it to work, and it looks like I did. First I pulled out the case buttons and tried to manipulate the phone buttons that way. I could, but it required a bit of force and didn't seem like it would be acceptable on a daily use basis. Also, the open button holes just makes even more spaces for dust/grim to get into the case, which I wasn't crazy about (as an aside, looking through the holes you can see that the spaces don't quite line up with the actual phone buttons due to the extra thickness of the phone.)I put the buttons back on, and slipped the phone back in again, and this time the case buttons kind of worked. Perhaps pulling out the buttons and putting them back in stretched out the silicon just enough to make it workable? The tactile feedback from pushing the buttons doesn't feel great, but they work at least. At this point I consider it an acceptable compromise, and will probably keep the case and give it a go. Right now I'm inclined to keep my rating at 3 stars, hopefully after getting some mileage with it I'll want to revise it upwards.2nd edit (4/28/2018):So I've been using this for a couple weeks now. On the plus side the phone mount has been a solid performer. Once you lock it in place you can apply some force to wiggle it a bit, but if you leave it alone it's pretty much not moving. I generally ride on pavement that is reasonably well-maintained, so I can't offer any insight on how well it holds up under bumpy conditions, but I would guess that it wouldn't be a concern. On the minus side, I discovered that the slightly grippy surface of the case is a very thin coating over what I assume is a polycarbonate shell. It only took about a week before the coating of one corner of the case had worn off. Fortunately, the worn off section doesn't seem to be increasing in area as of yet. I'm actually wondering if I didn't somehow scrape off the coating by accident, as that specific corner doesn't really seem like it would be a high friction area. Thus far I'm moderately pleased with the case. The aesthetic blemish is kind of annoying, but the overall function is good enough that I think it merits changing my rating from 3 to 4 stars.3rd edit (6/6/2018)Rubbery exterior continues to deteriorate, but that was expected. However, today one of the screws holding the plate on the phone fell out. Fortunately the screw fell out and stayed attached to the magnetic part of the mount, but apparently it fell out because the threads on the case are stripped. Man, I really want to like this case, but come on.

Wait a few months of use before writing a review!
Had it for exactly 3 months and the screws fell out, the plate was stuck to the mount (instead of the phone casing). Very poor design, the screws are maybe 2mm long. 4 of these microscopic screws are not meant to last long, attaching a metal plate to plastic. I feel like I was scammed.

Keeps phone locked in on XC rides
I ride a hardtail in my local (Ashland, OR) watershed with some pretty legit downhill runs. Even with small jumps, my phone stays locked in place. This was well worth the initial investment (~$45).

Secure Mount with Great Design
Super secure and innovative phone mount. I modified it to fit on my motorcycle and love the easy attaching and the extra lock mechanism to prevent it from being knocked off. Phone case is great and locking surface adds minimal weight.

Great design and a quality product.
Only used a couple times but feel confident my phone is secure. My rides consist of pavement, gravel and dirt which can get pretty rough and rooty.

Meets expectation.
Solid, got some compliments at the Local bike shop when seeing how fast it can be disconnected. With the latch on the back engaged the phone has stayed connected even when hitting some massive pot holes.

Poor
Poor product. I’ve used this item twice and it doesn’t work properly.I’ve resorted to sticking it on as the lock feature no longer works and I missed my return date by 1 day because I was using it on vacation for the last 14 days.Do not buy
