Works!
My tall husband recently had surgery, making it difficult for him to reach his toes in the shower. This brush has a long handle and has worked perfect,y for him! We have had no problems with it.

One flaw makes it unusable.
The idea of this brush is good. I like the way you can lick it in different positions and it is a good length. However, the way the brush head attaches to the handle is unacceptable. The handle has a flat plastic tip that is supposed to slide into the back of the brush and be held tight by pressure. It only worked the first few times. Now every time I try to use it the brush head pops off the handle. This happens even when using minimal pressure. There is no possible way this product (my experience) can be used to scrub at ANY level. It is a total waste of money. I would like to see a redesign of the product with a better method of attaching the heads. DONT BUY THIS ONE.

Own two. Very satisfied. Good product when used/cared for appropriately and with common sense.
I've bought more than one of these and I bought replacement pads and brushes as well. They all work just fine so long as you get the brush/pad on the stick securely (which shouldn't be difficult but if it is give it a few gentle taps with a hammer or hammer-like instrument) and don't scrub your back like you're scrubbing algae off the bottom of a boat (that is, putting unnecessary pressure on it and brushing with unnecessary aggression with it). It's just your back. It doesn't need lots of pressure or vigorous scrubbing. Owning more than one of these, I'm surprised by the number of complaints and low ratings. While a few of those may be from receiving defecting product, I honestly suspect most involve user error in one way or another to one degree or another. I'm very satisfied with this product. I would recommend them to anyone with basic commonsense and basic problem-solving skills and anyone who didn't think a back-scrubber should be built like a weed-eater or power-washer. And not only would I buy them again, but I did: I bought a second one because, having commonsense and basic problem-solving skills, I did see the downside to changing out the heads all the time. So I bought a second one. I use the first one in the shower with the brush head. I use the second one with the pad after my shower to apply moisturizer. That way I don't have to keep switching out the brushes for pads and pads for brushes, which may be where some frustration is coming from in the critical reviews and negative ratings. Thus, I not only would recommend buying this product, but I would actually recommend buying two of them! Have a brush head always on one for in the shower and have a pad always on the other for applying lotion after your shower.

Long brush
This is great since it is very long and adjustable angles. Most other brushes seem to be a few inches short. Nice that it has adjustable angle but it does not have that solid feel.

Long handle adjustable
Like the adjustable handle. Head keeps falling off.

GREAT FOR OBESE PEOPLE
I am able to put lotion on my feet with this tool. I cannot reach my feet very well. This solves that problem.

Right idea; poorly executed; not sturdy at all.
Long enough but too long and complicated to store; the sponge is useful for applying lotion to your back but as a back brush for bathing this is not a simple, sturdy product. 1.The shower brush is a heavy block of bamboo well made but too heavy to slide onto the handle and adjust the angle of the handle without fear that pressing down to scrub your back is going to snap it off at the adjustable hinge. So I use it only for applying lotion on my back with the soft sponge attachment. Its light weight and perfect for that. I threw away the brush because 2. The tapered end of the handle slides into a groove on the back of the brush which is held on by wedge pressure. I can see where it will snap off or slide through if I attach it with too much pressure. If its broken or split the sponge pad needs the same tapered end of the handle to push the sponge head into a drilled hole in the sponge and it then becomes useless. Neither attachment screws on or clips on. Either you'll wedge it in too tight and not be able to remove either head to switch it out or break it in attempting to detach it. 3. The handle also comes in two sections. The first, shorter section has the adjustable spring hinge on it for angling the scrub brush or sponge for better reach. That first section is short, not quite long enough to use alone. The extention handle clips in and telescopes into the first and can be adjusted for proper length and twisted down to lock in place. The problem is the hinge section does not fold in half, flat at the hinge for storing leaving the whole thing when assembled, too long to fit in a standard drawer. It adjust three angles up to 90° either direction but not in half, flat. So the hinge has to be fully extended out straight AND the second section REMOVED before it will comfortably fit in a drawer. That's how I broke my first one. I tried to take a short cut and put it away with it still locked at the first angle. Bent at that slight angle and the handle pieces pulled apart I shoved it in a drawer thinking it will be okay. Forgetting it was angled I pulled it out of the drawer too hastily and the handle hooked and grazed the drawer frame snapping the hinge off. The handle was now in three pieces too short to be of any use. So I bought another. For however long it will last, for lotion application on your back its an expensive but effective tool. Thats all.

Reached back and legs
The ability to change the angles to fit to get to my back and change again for legs is great.

Mauvaise conception.
Pour le dos.L'emprise de la poignée rend cet article inutilisable ; glisse en main. Je recherche en magasin, une meilleure et plus grosse poignée pour améliorer la "grip".

excellent back scratcher
i bought this for one purpose and one purpose only. soley as a back scratcher. i already have a bathroom brush of similar design and it work wonders but the back scratcher i have is the old fashioned kind. these bristles work really well for getting a bigger area without causing damage to the skin like i would get with my other scratcher
