Perfect day pack (for me)
The build quality and versatility of this pack is incredible for this price point. The design is very well thought out and functions incredibly well in a variety of uses (day hikes, commuting, cycling, getting groceries, etc). As a commuting pack it's very comfortable and fits everything I need. I wanted an internal frame sheet not so much for weight distribution but so it would self stand when empty and easily made one that fits into the hydration pocket out of a plastic sheet. The straps aren't padded but even with 40 lbs remain comfortable because of their width, slight elasticity, and breathability. The adjustable and removable sternum/waist straps have been used much more than i thought they would be, especially when adding some bulkier/heavy items to the back . There is a lot of room for adjustability with all of the straps but the excess webbing can get snagged or look "messy"; to remedy that I got strap keepers that keep everything neat and in place. The three zipper design has been a joy to use - accessing something from the bottom or middle of the pack without having to unload everything is so satisfying and convenient. Each zipper has a tab at its start/end point which makes using them very easy when the bag's hanging off one arm or it's empty and slouching. Although the top zipper pocket is quite large I think 1-2 smaller internal pockets would be a great addition to help keep smaller items organized. I added a savotta trinket pouch hanging from the hydration pouch hookthqtvtucks into the hydration pocket for smaller items that are good to have but not used as often and are best kept apart from everything else (phone charger, battery bank, repair kit, first aid pack, etc). Even though it isn't specified as waterproof I have spent 1.5hrs in medium to heavy rain on a photoshoot and everything remained dry internally. For my intended uses this bag fits the bill on nearly every level and would recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile day pack, I'd even consider it for 2-3 day canoe/hiking trips or peak bagging.

Carry on day hike backpack that fits under Euro airlines
Pack was carry approved on all flights we took, even small euro airlines. And up to all of the day hikes - takes multiple water bottles and swimsuits and towels with ease. Sufficient pockets and easy access. Pack is very light and straps were sufficiently comfortable. One improvement would be more solid frame support.

Want a perfect short hike pack?
I normally choose mystery ranch for their suspension but wanted a new lightweight pack for the short hike minimums.... a water bladder, first aid, a layer and some other odds and ends. I looked at Camelback and the usual suspects. Tried this and am sold. Great stitching, overload capacity, 3 zip for easy access and just the right padding to make it work as intended without a bunch of silly straps or doodads.

Great pack for easy access
I’ll be using this pack, with custom lining, for my large Vortex spotting scope. The three-way zippers allow easy access to the scope and all accessories.

Simple backpack meant for day travel
Good size for a one man day pack. I can easily pack socks, set of clothes, rain poncho and a tarp. There are two exterior pockets to fit water and any additional open air goods. Rope and other small essentials can be packed in the top pouch.
