Been using these knives for a couple months now and I'm very impressed. I learned to use a chef's knife as a prep cook back in my early 20's (longer ago than I care to admit). I actually prefer the 8" knife included with this set to my more-expensive J.A. Henckels simply because the handle is so comfortable. The factory edge was excellent and I've only recently had to sharpen the 8" knife. I was also a bit skeptical about the non-stick coating and thought it might affect the knives' sharpness but it doesn't - it's actually quite a nice feature.

The blades are painted- the paint hasn’t been coming off during use but I didnt want painted blades. I must have missed that in the description. They cut fine and have not needed sharpening. Got these for the RV because they have the cases for each knife. So they are fine and do the job intended.

I have always purchased high quality knives from a specialty store. I needed something for the non-Cook’s to use in my kitchen (decoy knives). Turns out that I use these more than my expensive knives—kind of mad about that. This is the second set I have purchased in two years. They work great! Used them to prepare a meal for 150 people... no problem. They sharpen very easily and the protective sleeves mean I can just throw these in a drawer. Highly recommend for the home cook.

Couldn't believe these dulled on the first use. Returned them.

They definitely feel a little cheap, but I bought these expecting them to get stolen or lost in the restuarant I work at so I needed something inexpensive. Came super sharp right out the box. Quite light in the hand, very comfortable. Covers are a great additional value for safety as I need to leave them in the open. All in all happy I bought them.Edit: Update March 28th. They're holding up great to daily use!

Best knives ever! Got my coworker to buy them and she loves them too! They cut like a dream and are so good for this price!

For the price I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The knives are extra sharp, easy to work with and the covers fit well. Handles are secure to the blade, good size for hand.

These are really great !!!! I hate to pick up a knife and then have to saw through a sandwich with if you know what I mean .....I have had a few sets and always went back to my Old Hickory Knives ...I loved them but the handles hurt my hands with the arthritis now , also I have a girl who comes to help and it is better to have things that won't rust , I don't think I will be going back to the Old Hickory Knives this time but I may keep them anyway hehehe ...😋

These were bought as a gift but sadly the person to whom they were given discarded them because one snapped and he discovered that there was only a very short piece of the blade that went into the handle, making them quite dangerous

If your looking for a great set of knives, buy these! Extremely sharp.

Lovely ergonomic handles and so light to use with good sharp blades and I like the idea how these come with covers to protect the drawer, other utensils when being stored and the knife from blunting.

Rubber grip and shape is comfortable to hold. Feel like good quality after 3 weeks. I like them.
