I've been using Red Heart yarn for decades! It's absolutely my, "Go To," yarn for all my projects.I prefer Red Heart to other yarns for a combined group of reasons:- Readily available- Inexpensive, as yarns go- Synthetic (neither shrinks as does wool & colors don't run)- Plethora of colors & varieties (solid; flecks; ombre; multi-color et.c.)Keep in mind that if left in the sun for a long duration, the colors will fade. (I found that out the hard way when I left my scarf on my car's dashboard.)Also, while this yarn is incredibly durable and easy to use, it's not very soft. For myself, the only thing I won't use it for is items I'm making for a baby.

This skein has nice shades of blue in it. Very happy with this purchase.

This yarn is working up beautifully in a wedding afghan I’m making for a niece and her husband. The hand is nice, soft and great weight. I’m looking forward to trying other colors.

The yarn works up well and the gradient color is beautiful. It just tends to split a little, but most Red Heart yard does. I will be buying more of this yarn.

Beautiful yarn. It feels a little rough when you crochet with it, but I like to be able to grip the yarn when I'm working. I feel like it gives me better control than when you crochet with already softened yarn. It washes up super soft after your project is done.

Making 3 Baby Boy Blue Ombré Blanket for my 2 grandsons & my great nephew. Love the shades of blue soft yarn. The Jumbo Super Saver yarn is wonderful to knit with & the blending of the blues looks amazing!!!

Red Heart has always been a good value yarn. The 4# is a good yarn for beginners and won’t break the bank.
