I received a defective d20
I ordered this product and the dice are lovely, heavy, and I want them to be perfect. However, the 20-sided die on the '20'-face had a shaved/rounded edge, making the die notably favor a side. I'm currently returning this, and plan to order again -- I'm hoping it's a one-time defect. If the next set is as great as I hope, I'm going to bump this review to 4 or 5 stars.I've included a picture. Note that that is not glare, but a wrong cast or cut on the die.UPDATE: I started the return process. I also contacted the seller. I should have done that first! They were offering to be very helpful and send me a replacement d20. Sadly, I had kicked of the return. My second set arrived. They dice are all in good shape!

The weight of things
Beautiful dice presented beautifully! I used them in game last night and I only rolled crits! (Ok maybe that's just luck 😂) These dice have a lovely weight to them, feeing substantial and lending a certain conviction to your roll. Bad rolls still feel bad, but good rolls feel better! The finish is brushed, not polished, and the numbers are perfectly legible in a glossy dark blue enamel. The presentation box is a lovely tin with foam cutouts for each die, and is a fine example of elegant packaging suitable for gifting (to yourself or another!) The lid is lined with foam as well and makes a good rolling surface. The dice I received were exactly what I wanted, and what I expected when I ordered them. What I didn't expect was how much I love playing with them! There is a real tactile pleasure in just handling them, and rolling them feels great. Plastic dice work fine, I guess - they generate the numbers. Likewise a dice app. But I'm here to say - if you roll plastic or digital, you're missing a small but lovely addition to the game that will make you eager to roll initiative!Full Metal Dice. That's how I roll.

Nice dice, but arrived banged up.
On the whole these are very nice dice. The copper colour is great and I like the weight in the hand. The edges are a bit harsher than metal dice I’ve used in the past, and as other buyers have noted, the d4 could definitely do some damage irl.I knocked off a star because a few of them seem a little beat up. Sure, they’re dice, and that’s going to happen eventually, but I’d like to be the one doing the beating, ya know? The d12 in particular has a few knicks along some of the edges (see photos for detail). The others are better, but this is a bit much for a brand new set of dice. The packaging is excellent so I don’t think the damage happened in transit. It must be a manufacturing defect/quality control error, hence the 4 stars.(Tho if they serve me well on campaign tomorrow, I’ll consider adding a 5th 😉)

Heavy dice, great price
These dice are great! They're super heavy, and roll nicely. While I've yet to have the opportunity to use them in a game, I've been rolling them just because they're so fun to use. You'll definitely want to use something to protect your wooden table tops, though, as they will leave dents when you just roll them on the wood. Did I mention that they're super heavy? The tin they come in is a nice touch, as well. There's plenty of foam to protect the dice, and even if you hold the closed tin upside down with the dice inside and shake vigorously, they don't make any noise. The dice are kind of difficult to extract from the foam, so you'll want to take them out of the tin upon arriving at your local gaming table. If it's your turn, and you need to attack, you'll be slowing things down quite a bit if you don't already have the needed dice out and ready to roll. All in all, these are wonderful dice for a very reasonable price. I could see myself ordering more of these in the various finishes offered in the future.

doubles as a projectile after numerous critical fails
I'm not suggesting that you hurl these hefty, quality dice at your GM just because you don't know how to NOT roll a one ...several times ...consecutively... You have to own your own failures at stealth checks, constitutional saving throws, and the ability to have a conversation with someone without coming across as a suspicious-looking bard with a hidden agenda to drink all of their beer, plunder their riches, and declare yourself Lord Bartholomew of Winterfell. ...but it could happen.

Great Dice
I've moved beyond my desire for heavy metal dice - they dent the table if you miss the dice tray, something I became tired of. I recommend for readers of this review to look into aluminum or gemstone dice if you crave a "luxury" feel. But these dice, for what they are, could not possibly be any better. They're heavy, don't tarnish like other metal dice I own, and have not become dented themselves even though I've owned them for some time. If your concern is weight over luxury, these are the best bang for your buck.

Perfect dice for the weightier matters
Compared to the plastic dice which seem to bounce all over the place these dice land on the surface decisively and quickly come to their values. They don't produce consistently better numbers, but they make me feel like I am because they are a joy to use. I love the heft. It adds to the sense of weight the decisions my character is making.Dice are packaged in a nice tin with foam insert to protect your heavy decision makers while in transport. Fun fact, the metal box fits in my dice bag with my other four sets of plastic dice so it's nice and easy to carry them all.

Not “true” dice
Honestly, not impressed with these dice, specifically the 20 sided die. I’m guessing these are cast metal dice. Some of the die facets aren’t true and are slightly rounded or bellied out. On most of the dice this isn’t noticible, but on the 20 sided there is a noticeable wobble when a 20 is showing (of all the numbers to wobble on!!) when inspecting the “1” which is the opposite side, you can notice the facet is not true and flat. Makes it almost impossible to roll a 20 on this die. Back to using plastic dice....
