I have a cool lamp that I inherited from a roommate years ago that finally burned out. I pulled the bulb and... no markings to tell me what it was. Some research finally got me the type, and Amazon was the only place I could order it without ordering 20. I did the math. I've had the lamp ~10 years. I'd need to live 200 more years (or have bad luck with lamps) for that to be a reasonable purchase. While I don't anticipate living quite 100 more years, I feel like that gives me the opportunity to throw some wild parties, but still not be too wasteful. Gives bright light, was cut correctly/easy to install. Good value (for 100 years!)

Was exactly what I needed and the price is great! The bulbs work fine and are vey easy to install.

The first bulb had a lifespan of 1 hour. And yes, I did use gloves when installing it under the microwave. I've never seen a burned out bulb look like that (see photo). The second bulb is still working after using it for 2 days. The 50w bulb seems a little less bright than the one I usually get from Home Depot. But the HD price is so much more expensive.
