This is a very well made case, and very useful. The case is hard but very lightweight and just big enough for the presenter so it gives solid protection without taking up much additional space and adding a negligible amount of weight to the already very light presenter. The Logitech Spotlight comes with a USB receiver that plugs into the handheld unit for storage, but it also has a dongle necessary to charge the remote, and there is no built-in storage space for that. Rather than having to keep track of the dongle, this case has a handy mesh panel in the lid that holds the dongle perfectly. I travel frequently with my presentation gear, and this case is a very useful and highly recommended accessory

I was hesitant to spend this much on a pointer, but as a full-time trainer I'm travelling across the U.S. conducting classes for tradespeople. I'm finding that it's now about 50/50 for places that have LED/LCD T.V.s and places I use my projector. My quality Logitec laser pointer/presenter is still working great for the projector, but worthless as a pointer with a TV screen.I couldn't be happier with this presenter. I did purchase a case for it, but it works just as described in the video. I have found it very easy to use AND customize to my needs. The battery is lasting a good three hours or more - I just plug it in when I take a break and have not yet had an issue.It was easy to set up with the software, and easy to configure how I wanted it. Because of company policy, I did have the hardware and software "cleared" by our IT department. They are now ordering some for other employees.Yes, it's expensive, but it is worth every penny.

The Logitech Spotlight remote and its charging cable fits perfectly within the case. Zipper-pulls are rubberized: nice but not necessary. Two zipper-pulls for such a small case seems excessive, but the symmetry is attractive. Rounded design on the ends allows it to slide easily into a pocket in a briefcase or backpack.

Excellent product! I bought the Logitech Spotlight Presentation remote and store a lot of stuff in the bag it will be kept in. I was worried about it getting banged up or crushed. This case is perfect! Tougher than I expected. I rated a 4 on durability because one of the zippers snags occasionally. Not often enough or even damaging. In fact, it could just be the right corner it travels on.

This is a hard case that provides protection to your remote. It is sharp looking and the presentation remote fits perfectly. There is a mesh pocket on the inside of one side where you can store the charging cable. Not much room for anything else though. The only drawback to this case, and the reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars, is the zipper does not operate smoothly. It catches and is sometimes difficult to open. I cannot find anything obvious wrong with the zipper but definitely not smooth operating. However, most of the time the case is zipped up protecting the remote so overall, a good product and one I recommend.

I ordered this the same time I ordered the Spotlight because I did not know the Spotlight came with its own small vinyl case. But, seeing the quality of the included case compared to this beast, I would still buy this and throw away the included case.
