Installation was a bit tricky, but the mower started on the first pull and ran well.

Well, I got to install it twice because it took me two times to realize the fuel shut off is reverse of the original and what is printed on the mower. Other than that very happy with it. Fit perfectly including all the throttle and governor linkages. Runs great now!

Great price and straightforward install on my 32 year old Honda HR 215 lawnmower. Started on second pull after installation and runs great. Only (very minor) issue as others have pointed out is the fuel shut off lever positioning (not location on the carb) is opposite the original carb which is immaterial. You can’t buy a rebuild kit for what this new carb cost and a Genuine Honda replacement is triple the price, and quite possibly made in the same, or similar factory. Again, great value.

Mid 90's model Honda HR215hxa self propelled mower.The tunnel shaped hole gasket that goes closest to the engine was not the correct size. The hole was way too large and would cause a vacuum leak if used. I made my own gasket with some gasket paper I had on hand.The only other thing is the fuel valve shutoff is backwards compared to the oem. Not a big deal.This carb also has a built in fuel screen/filter not on the oem. Didn't cause any fitment issues and may actually keep small junk out of the main jet that I have had problems with before.Installed and the mower started on the first pull. Runs great.

I tried ordering a different product from a different vendor and while it included a bunch of stuff that I didn't need, it never showed up. I used delivery date as a significant input to my decision process. That company wholly missed the mark.This company delivered the product ahead of schedule. It was the only the carburetor, but thats all I needed. I spent maybe 15 minutes installing this on the lawnmower, and the lawnmower started within two pulls. My lawnmower now works the way it used to, and this carburetor is a 1/5th the price of the OEM carburetor. It remains to be seen how long it lasts, but if last more than two years it is a way better value than the OEM carburetor. Lawnmower is a Honda HRC216.

Direct fit easy install

Had been taking the lawnmower mower into the local dealer for repair every year at $75 a visit. This thing is a bargain! Once replaced, have not needed to go to the dealership, and it has been a couple years. If I only knew.

Took me all of 10 minutes to install. 10mm socket/ratchet, pliers, flat head screw driver (to help slide fuel line off fitting) and hemostats to pinch off the fuel line (supplied fuel in box was too short but no big deal to me) Carb works perfect on my Honda HR214 mower! No adjustment needed and mower starts with one pull! No surging either(Replaced with this carb because mower would ONLY run with choke...would die on HI/ Low -idle)...problem solved! Very good aftermarket carb for the money spent (OEM Honda HR214 is almost $70!!! 😳)
