I’ve only got to use the smaller of the two just once, to install a peg bushing and it was 2 turns, three tops. Very effective tool that I will definitely use over and over. The best thing was that this was a set of two for the same price or less than most of the single reamers for sale. Very nice quality at first glance, similar to what you’d get at the local hardware store though I don’t know how the price compares. I recommend these for the DYI guitar repairers or startup shops.

This is a really good tool. It worked as advertised. I was able to complete my job with no damage to the surrounding finish. I would recommend this to anyone needing small adjustments to existing holes.

Spend the money for real tools. These are barely able to ream wood which they do by abrasion rather than cutting. The taper angle is 6.9 degrees which is no good for bridge pins (3 or 5 degrees)mor end pins.

Beware works fast when applying medium pressure, so be sure to go in small increments and constantly check for right snug fit.

Bought for reaming out end pin and strap pin holes on my acoustic guitar. Worked perfectly. Very pleased.

I use reamers for working on my guitar, and the cost of Amazon's compared to the "professional" music reamers, which are exactly the same, you get 2 for less than the price of one. It's a no brainer.
