A little pricey, but better than DIY.
This board works great. I started off with a board I built myself out of wood that was slightly larger in dimension. That board fit my pedals, but I had trouble since I didn't have a case for it and even custom-sized soft cases were pretty expensive. I also wanted a slightly smaller board, since I play a lot of DIY shows and small venues (stage space is valuable). So I decided to try one of the Pedaltrain boards with a hard case. Even though these products are a little over-priced in comparison to a home-built board, the Pedaltrain board has a number of advantages. It is much lighter, being made out of aluminum instead of wood. The case is actually much better than I was reading online. I have already gigged with it 4 times and not a single scratch on it. The one qualm I have with it, is that the actual board fits very snug inside of the case, so you will have to pay attention to your cable management. I keep a row of pedals at the very top and use cable retainers to hold the cables in place right up against the top of the board so they fit in the case. For anyone's information as well, I am using both a Strymon Zuma and a Walrus Audio Pheonix power supply and they both fit under the board without hitting the ground. Would recommend.

Perfect Large Pedalboard
This is a great pedalboard. It’s big, I have 12 pedals on it now and could fit a few more, it’s well constructed, and very adaptable to mounting power supplies underneath. I used the generic mount to install the Phoenix and the only downside is that you have to drill holes, but it’s easy enough if you have a drill. If you want a large pedalboard, this is perfect. If you aren’t going to run 12 to 15 pedals, get a smaller one and you’ll enjoy it just as much

Shoddy but tough
The tour case I received is not riveted together properly by the wheels which is very concerning especially for the price, I Do not know how this one passed quality control.I worry that it will shake apart at some point, However it takes some abuse thus far and still remains intact so hopefully its tough enough and will last. The pedal train is a good size and well made unfortunately though the rubber feet do not have any friction so the board was sliding about the floor until I added some furniture foam pads to the feet. The wheels could do with a bit more clearance as anything other than a level surface cause it to hitch.( I could not return it as I'd already drilled a power supply into the pedaltrain and amazon would not take the case separately, but they were kind enough to compensate). There's ample padding inside and my pedals seem quite safe.I would suggest that they cut a groove in though as there is no hand clearance to grip the board and pull it out of the case.
