Model LT22N672C by Laurel Electronics is a programmable RTD temperature transmitter with an RTD signal conditioner set for Ni120 120 ohm nickel RTD, -100 to 260°C. Standard features include a user scalable 4-20 mA, 0-10V or ±10V analog output, RS232 or RS485 data I/O, and two 120 mA solid state relays. Four RTD types are user selectable: 100-ohm platinum (Pt100) with DIN alpha of 0.00385, 100-ohm platinum (Pt100) with ANSI alpha of 0.003902, 10-ohm copper with alpha of 0.00427, and 120-ohm nickel with alpha of 0.00672. The entire span of each RTD type is presented in a single range. All ranges for all RTD types are digitally calibrated at the factory, with calibration factors stored in an EEPROM on the signal conditioner board. This allows temperatures sensors and signal conditioner boards to be changed in the field without recalibrating the meter. The RTD type, unit of measure (°C or °F) and resolution (1°, 0.1° or 0.01°) are selectable from the front panel or via the meter's optional serial interface. Typical accuracy is ±0.1°C (±0.2°F) at up to 60 conversions per second. High read rates at up to 60 or 50 conversions per second are ideal for peak or valley capture, real-time computer interface, and control. Peak and valley values are automatically captured. Digital filtering is selectable for electrically noisy environments. The Modbus protocol is fully supported as is the simpler Custom ASCII protocol. Power and all inputs and outputs are mutually isolated. The transmitter snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail and is only 22.5 mm (0.89 inch) thick. It is certified to CE, RoHS, and ETL / UL standards.
