Working Perfectly
Time will tell, as it's only been two days, but so far it's working perfectly. I have a 25 watt panel charging a car battery. It runs a gate opener, and two dusk 'till dawn LED street sign lights (ea. 1.5 watts) The lights draw so little they don't register as a load. The gate opener draws an amp or a bit less. In full sun the panel's inputting 1.7 amps. When the battery reaches 13.6 volts it cuts off. The display is dim but certainly readable.Note: photo taken early morning, after a night of discharging from LED street sign.Liked this so much, I bought another for my storage shed. Two walls are covered with OSB so it fits nicely on one wall. I feed it with a 100 watt Renogy panel. I see 6.7 amps. in full sunlight charging an old Optima battery I had laying around. I also use it to charge two Chafon portable power backups (lithium)I like being able to see what's going in and out. Visibility of the readout is great because the shed's pretty dark.

Works good
Works well, i will say the screen although not annoyingly 'bright' does not turn off either. The on/off switch on the front just turns on and off the usb ports and output terminals for loads (if you want to use them, i just take off the storage battery instead) it also said 8 amps charge rate and i checked that with an ammeter and it was actually 6. I still would buy it again however, it's a deal at the price

The meters are worth it
Seems to work fine. The meters are fairly accurate. Using a 40W portable Dragon-X solar panel with 18-22V (OC) output, it keeps a constant 2A during charge to a 12V/12A AGM battery and seems to stop charging at 13V. I leave it connected to the battery at all times, and the standby current drain is minimal.

excellent unit
for the price this is the best PWM charge controller out there. best feature is it actually shows incoming current, outgoing current (with button to switch off). i previously had one of those blue pwm controllers, this is just miles ahead. love it!!

Easy to install, good info display, but not functional out of the box.
It is easy to install and has a nice display. However, the 12V output (the one with the low-voltage cutoff) only outputs 3V. Will see how Papaco customer service goes, and if they handle it well, I'll update this review.UPDATE: The support was good, and they sent me a working replacement promptly. Raising my review to 4 stars.

Works okay, but current display is way off.
It works okay to keep my car battery topped up during the winter. The built-in current measurement is way off though, it says 1.1A when the actual charging current is only about 300 mA (see picture)

Great value
Really liked the ability to see how many amps are being generated by the sun. Also, the display is lit all the time and it makes it nice at night to see battery voltage. 👍

Does not display charge current or output current.
Not good Faulty!!! Does not display charge current or output current. Works to charge but display won’t display current values all connections are good. Annoying should have spent more on a nicer one I guess!!!need to buy a good quality one..
