Atopia Non Alcoholic Spirit Hedgerow Berry, 70cl

I was very excited to try non alcoholic spirit. Well if you drink on his own - the taste isn’t the best, but with lemonade or tonic I think it’s good. It does reminds me pink gin and lemonade.The price it’s a bit to high I think just because it’s non alcohol, most of the stuff like this is cheaper then original.I would buy again

This is very pleasant and good for a nice summer day. The smell of it is nice and the taste is good. However, it is too weak - there isn't enough flavour there!

Very minimal alcohol levels makes this a wonderful adult alternative to gin or other spirits. It’s not that strong - much like gin itself, it’s quite a subtle flavour. I can detect hints of berry and rosehip and other flavours I can't identify. Mixed with the same tonic I use for gin (with the bitter tang of quinine) it has an authentic enough taste to make me not feel I’m missing out on the experience, even while others are on the real stuff. Psychologically it makes such a difference to me.This is also a lovely drink in its own right, and I like the look of the spritzer recipe online here.My only negative is the cost (currently £24). I realise Atopia is not some cheap rubbish, it gives the feel of real quality. But I can buy amazing quality gins for far less, so for me this knocks it off the 5 star rating. Despite that it’s a lovely drink and a great replacement for my usual gin.

I am halfway through OYNB (one year no beer) and have been trying a large variety of non alcoholic drinks.This one is basically flavoured water. It is very expensive for what it is, and doesn’t really have the flavour to back up the high asking price.There is also a slight, but sharp, peppery finish in this drink which makes it less than smooth.Overall I think I will stick with water kefir and kombucha drinks, which are much cheaper and just as nice to drink.

As soon as I took my first sip, I developed a strong dislike for it. It did say a hint of spice, the strength was much much higher than a hint.The price is also a bit high for a non-alcoholic drink.I still think this could find a liking to a few tongues out there, as it was definitely unique and might find it become an acquired taste!!!

Both myself and my partner have tried out this rather yummy tasting non alcoholic beverage by "Atopia" in the hedgerow berry flavour and we both enjoyed it immensely. I mixed it with lemonade and ice as i didn't have any tonic water to hand and found it to be refreshing with a floral hint but there is definitely a ginger hit to be had as well, it's very easy on the palate and it does taste like gin but without the headache!This will make a delicious drink to enjoy in the garden on a sunny day and offers a great alternative to the alcoholic kind, for example if you were having friends over who were driving and couldn't drink alcohol, this would make them feel like they were actually drinking with you and not missing out.It's a very enjoyable and pleasant drink but i do feel it's a little on the pricy side.

This flavoured low alcohol water from Atopia comes in 3 different flavours:Hedgerow berry,rhurbarb and ginger and spiced citrus.I have been sent a bottle of the Hedgerow Berry flavour to review in return for my honest opinion.The alcohol content of this water is very low at 0.5%.I have tested this out both neat and with tonic water.The scent of the drink is appealing with a nice fresh,fruity smell.However, the flavour does not appeal to me massively.Neat the beverage is very bitter -so will not be sampling it neat again.In combination with with unflavoured tonic water it is much better,but nothing that would inspire me to go out and spend £24 for a 700ml bottle of this close to alcohol free beverage.I have yet to try it in a cocktail-it does give you a recipe on its Amazon listing,so perhaps I will enjoy it more as a proper cocktail.For the immediate time being my rating for this product is just 3 Stars.The bottle looks lovely,fine design and quality cork-so immaculate presentation.Shame the actual drink does not live up to its aesthetics standard.I hope you find my review helpful.

This is a non-alcoholic drink that is as expensive as the alcoholic version. I do not drink alcohol anymore and I do get fed up with soft drinks so was looking forward to trying this drink from Atopia. The bottle recommended mixing with a good quality tonic. The problem is this is quite a bitter drink already, so when you mix it with tonic it gets even more bitter. I think lemonade is a better option as it will add sweetness. I wouldn’t buy this again as it’s too expensive and too bitter.
