Weber 1123004 Smokey Joe Premium Charcoal BBQ, Grill, Crimson 37cm & 7447 Chimney Starter, Compact

Not used a charcoal bbq for years but wanted a small one I could use for steaks, chicken tikka etc in the caravan. Had a disastrous first attempt (my fault) but subsequently delighted with it. Authentic BIR style chicken tikka on skewers were amazing!Also bought the small Weber chimney starter to make it easier to get the charcoal going.

Ordered but returned as got the one without the lid holder. Reordered and very pleased. You cannot go wrong with a Webber😊

This would be a five star except that the cooking grill fits very loosely, so much so that it easily slides so far to one edge that a portion drops into the coals. This happens while flipping food during cooking if you aren't careful. It also makes it difficult to place the cooking grill after the coals are ready.It gets a four because everything else is well done and high quality.I have to say, however, the problem with the cooking grill being insecure could be a deal breaker for a lot of people.

With Just my wonderful wife and I most of the time, our 47cm weber was to big to use so I orderd this little baby. It arrived on time yet the grill rack was missing. I contacted amazon and they immediately sorted this out for me. I now have a wonderful little weber that uses 1/5th the charcoal I use in my 47cm weber bbq to do the same Job I am confident I could manage to cook for four persons on this awesome little BBQ.

This is the best small braai I have ever had. Equally as good as the 47&57 cm. Excellent if your cooking for 3 people!

I have the big version for my garden which is brilliant . Bought this to save me lighting up the big one for when I just bar-b-que for myself. Ideal.Bought on an Amazon Pime day so price was really good!

This is my third Smokey Joe I've owned. The first now lives with my parents (who use it nonstop all summer) and the second couldn't make a big move, so was adopted by friends, who almost convinced me that they were doing me a favor. Weber's strong reputation is deserved.But seriously, unless you're bbq-ing for a large family or day-long event, you don't need a big grille. This little fella is more than up to the task. Current record: 4 hours of non-stop bbq-ing (one bit of additional briquettes at hour 3) and feeding very happy friends.

As other buyers have said the the baked on finish to the lid cracks and falls away when the handle is fitted and with mine left two large 50 mm flaked areas around the holes where the handle fits. The bare metal was showing and it looked very unsightly. Not the quality I expected from Weber as I own four different Weber BBQ's and never had a problem. This item is definitely a step back in quality and is obviously a manufacturing defect as so many others are having the same problem.I could not be bothered to send the item back so I purchased a small tin of heat resistant paint to cover the mess then bought some 50 mm M8 penny washers and used these with heat resistant black silicon to cover said mess before re-attaching the handles which cost me an extra £13 from Amazon but at least the lid now looks acceptable.Noit good enough Weber for a so called Premium product.

OBS denna modell kommer EJ med låsbart lock!!Du kommer inte kunna flytta grillen om du inte har varianten som heter PREMIUM där man kan låsa fast locket och grillen i handtaget och bära den med sig.Tyckte inte det framgick i beskrivningen av denna modell jag köpte nämligen!!

È il terzo weber che acquisto il master quello elettrico e questo perchè siamo in tre e basta e avanza. È perfetto a patto di avere un appoggio… un tavolo va benissimo perchè altrimenti stai per terra. Se vi serve di trasportarlo per i pic nic comprate il modello con il maniglione che si blocca per trasportarlo. L’ho cercato come optional e non di trova
