Terrible
The app makes a super loud beep that will make you go deaf when you turn it on if you have the headphones in. The ear peices are super difficult to fit in your ear right. The sound quality is very very very cheap. the app only works as long as it's the only thing open. Do not buy total waste of money.

Terrible sound, too large to use with a helmet
I bought these earphones to listen to music and my phone while riding my motorcycle. There are two major problems with that. 1) the sound is terrible. There is no bass at all, not even medium bass. The sound is tinny and very irritating. It is absolutely out of the question to listen to music with those. 2) the earphones are actually very large and even when fully inserted in the ear canal they stick out of the ear by a good bit which makes it impossible to put the helmet on.On the positive side, they seem to block outside noises relatively well and the foam insert was relatively comfortable after 10 minutes.I downloaded but did not try the app, I did not see the point of a noise cancelling app as the earphones were really terrible at home in a quiet environment. Note that the app is about 65MB (!) and requires you to subscribe, provide your email address and you will need a serial or registration number that is on the original packaging, so if you intend to use the app, do not throw away the packaging.I am upset at myself because several reviews pointed out the poor sound, but I trusted the Ryobi brand to deliver a reasonably well designed product and I bought these earphones in spite of those negative reviews.

Not a good deal for th money
Sound quality not so hot.The ear plugs I didn't find too comfortable. The flat cable was too stiff and always seemed to get caught one one thing or another.I am keeping them, after all they were in my ears and returning them would simply be unsanitary. All the rest of my ryobi gear has been excellent. My solution was to use a pair of Trex Titanium bone conductors and foam ear plugs. More money but good results.

Good product
They work well. Pretty crappy sound quality but it's better than listening to my machine run at work. The only thing I would recommend to Ryobi as an improvement would be replacement ear pieces because these don't quite fit snug. I don't mind adjusting them but it'd be nice to not need to.

Cheap but effective.
These are cheap ear buds but the quality is above average for the cost. The design of the ear plug part could be better as it is hard to get it in to the ear correctly but I am happy with my purchase.I use mine while mowing and they make it so that I can hear my music clearly with the volume way lower than I would normally have it.

These things are terrible, I wear my phone on my belt in an otterbox clip, I'm not a tall man and the cord was still way too short to work and talk on the phone hands free. If I stay held my phone while talking on it it would be fine but doesn't that defeat the purpose of these? Secondly the earpiece is extremely uncomfortable. These things are brand new and work fine but I threw them out due to the design flaws

Uncomfortable and won’t stay in.
Ear pieces won’t stay in and they aren’t comfortable at all. I can kill sound just as well with the ear buds that came with my phone.

Great idea, terrible execution.
Headphone requires app to work. App doesn't work if phone screen is off or locked. This makes them useless.Even running (phone screen on, unlocked) they have lag, so sounds in earplugs are 0.5-1 second after they've happened. Not safe for workplace.Bottom line, they're a great idea but they don't work, so they're getting returned.

Not worth your money
Foam is to thick to actually fit into your ears and it’s an odd size so you can actually get new tips for it. Very disappointed in this Ryobi product

Buy a pair of regular earbud earphones from Tesco
Absolutely crap unless by a miracle your ears fit these earbuds! Awful, no research into earbuds on the market currently that fill the ear much better and... I can't waste any more time on even a proper review. Wait no I can, the app is awful too they have tried to be clever and failed horribly.Terrible waste of time and effort.

Waste of money
Very poor comfort and fit, difficult to insert for proper hearing protection, poor sound quality when you do get them in properly.
