My Special Chocolate Milk
After reading lots of reviews on lots of protein shakes, it seems that taste is a big factor. I tried the Double Chocolate for the first time today. I mixed one full scoop with 8 ounces of ice cold filtered water. It tasted like slightly watered down chocolate milk. Really not bad at all. I like that it’s only 110 calories. I’m hopeful it helps my tired muscles after working out. I’ll update my review if I stick with this protein and I notice it helps. 😊

why exactly does anyone need their protein to taste like a damn milkshake
OK... so...Let me preface this by saying that I think largely the addition of artificial sweeteners in protein powders is silly. The vast majority of artificial sweeteners would be utterly counter productive to a healthy eating/working out lifestyle. Additionally, why exactly does anyone need their protein to taste like a damn milkshake? Why tastes basically like powdered milk. Neither really good or bad. So why add essentially diet candy bar ingredients to it?Which is why I sought this one out. No artificial sweetener. One scoop in Almond/coconut blend milk. Shake well. Easy. It's the drinking it part that's hard. I've had monkfruit extract before, and I have had stevia before. Neither time did I encounter the bitter, noxious, acrid smell and taste this mix has. It's frankly appalling. The smell is something like gym socks mixed with tootsie rolls, and the taste is actually worse than that. Neither sweet nor bland, the closest thing I could compare it to is chlorine with nesquick. It leaves an aftertaste that even brushing my teeth didn't help. Strongly chemical, achingly synthetic. To think anyone drinks this for better health in any way is actually disturbing.Go to the nearest store with bulk bins. Buy whey isolate. That's the only ingredient, 5 tablespoon = one scoop. Add some cinnamon or something. Done.

Bad after taste
I was really looking forward to this but I was disappointed in the artificial sweetener after taste. Some people can handle that and my daughter is one of them so I gave it to her and she loves it. Me not so much! 🤢

Great Choice
This protein is excellent! Dissolves quickly, tastes great, and is great for you. Would definitely recommend.

It keeps you full for the calories you're eating but the taste is unbearable
At first I was looking for something low calorie, tastes close enough to chocolate, and suppresses cravings but almost all the brands were like $25 and 2 lbs of protein powder and I didn't know what they tasted like. So I read the good review and the bad reviews. I chose to believe in the good ones and bought the 12oz pack of the double chocolate. In the good how they said the chocolate was so delicious and the sugar replacement wasn't so noticeable. Believe you me, Iv'e tasted my fair share of sugar replacements and this one was by far the most unbearably bitter one. It tastes like melted plastic but it keeps you full. I have to force myself to take sips of it to get my $10 worth but I'd certainly not buy it again. I'd buy premiere protein pre made chocolate shakes pack of 12 for $20 at Costco

Whey Protein
Product tastes good, not chalky and no after taste. I add this to homemade overnight oats for a little more protein. I also use cashew milk for a little more protein to keep hunger away.
