Great Bang for the Buck...
For the money I don't know how you can beat this microphone. It is extremely sensitive and records very well. My package was missing the table clamp, but I happened to have a desktop lamp that had a similar boom/extension arm. I tried the arm that came with mic with the lamp base and it was a perfect fit. Honestly I like this set up better than clamping it to the worktop. Other than that it worked perfectly through my mixer and recorded into my laptop with no issues & crystal clear. One change I will make though will be to upgrade the XLR cable for no other reason than to do it.If you are on a budget or just starting out, you can't go wrong with this mic.Note this is a condenser mic and requires phantom power to make it work It is not "plug & play" with a laptop or desk top computer.

Sounds like Sweet Goodness
Sorry peeps. Redoing the review... Video Review as well ... Forgive the PC latency sound, it's the laptop not the interface nor mic!Manufacturer screwed the installation of the device itself. They installed the pickup backwards putting the backend on the facing logo side making me speak directly behind it and I never once thought to go behind it. I just so happen to talk looking for something an noticed a major change.Needless to say, this mic is awesome! Aside from the defect that I can't lock in the XLR cable, it still works. Every so often it buzzes because they didn't do it right but thank goodness for direct monitoring I can pop on every so often to check. It still has a tad of that tin can sound but can be cleared in post. I would buy another if need be.

I have a audio technical AT2035 which fits fine in this stand
This review is for the stand and XLR cable only as I accidently purchased the microphone. I have a audio technical AT2035 which fits fine in this stand. Stand I would give 3 stars as the clamp is small and there is an annoying swivel at the end of the stand that you can never seem to tighten down enough. Its cheap but does what it needs to. As far as the XLR cable it works great with my Focusrite Scarlett Solo (2nd Gen) USB Audio Interface so 5 stars there. I'm sure the microphone isn't the best but it looks like it came in good shape.

Decent for speaking, not so much for singing
I've had the chance to play with higher price/higher quality mics and the difference is readily apparent. The Shure SM58 will blow this thing out of the water in terms of tone. Everything sounds a little bit muddy and flat. That being said it's very cheap, and it comes with an alright mic stand, and a pop filter. If you're laying down vocals on a song you will probably be better served to spend a little more money and get something that sounds better. If on the other hand you're looking to get a podcast off the ground and want a couple of cheap mics on a shoestring budget this might be a great fit.

Super Value Package
This package unit is a super value for the money. The microphone is like a professional studio unit. The whole package is very high quality and very well constructed. Two Thumbs Up and I am extremely hard to please.

everything was nice except the most important part of this bundle
everything was nice except the most important part of this bundle. The microphone had a very loud static noise come thru every couple seconds. If it didn't have the static sound then it would be great. The couple seconds it did not have the static noise it sounded very nice and clear. Maybe I just got a defected one and I sent it back. This bundle came with an xlr to 3.5 mm cord as well as an xlr female to male cord which I thought was a bonus. I'm not taking a chance on another cheap mic so I now I'm going to try out the $50 to $100 price range to see if I can find something that is not defective.

Just as good as the ST-M01 studio condenser microphone if you have a good interface
Works great with the ur22 stein berg interface with the +48v added power giving it very high sound for studio recording or whatever you need it for. BUT warning! if your looking to buy this mic I would highly recommend getting a good interface for around 30$ or more if you want good sound.

" But then I see the box and it is dented and looks like it was bumped around
When I first saw the white bag it was in it was torn up a little bit. I just thought "Okay some wear and tear I'm not mad." But then I see the box and it is dented and looks like it was bumped around. I open the box and the first thing I notice is that the pop filter was bunched up into a ball making it wrinkled and un appealing. As if someone just stuffed it into the place it was supposed to go. As I am taking everything out of the box a gold end piece just tumbles out knowing that now it wasn't properly packed. Then I notice SOME bags were sealed and some were not. These were alll red flags for me. Lastly the microphone had rattling in it. I looked around and noticed it was just the bottom ring where the microphone screen meets the black. But either way I am VERY disappointed with how I received my microphone.
