Poor design. Not fit for integrated kitchen. Noisy.
My main problem with this Russell Hobbs fridge was that the hinges were fitted right up to the right hand side instead of being inset by 18mm to allow for the door panel. See image comparing my old freezer hinges to Russell Hobbs. This meant the door opened beyond its frontage and into the abutting wall. I had to cut a channel over 1cm deep and 2cm wide, to allow the door to open 80 degrees. See image. Allowing it to open 90 degrees would have meant cutting an entire section out of the wall. This is a rookie design fault. Russell Hobbs eventually got back to my detailed email concerning this fault but just asked if the unit was damaged? The attachment at the panel base is also not good. The door furniture is fixed on two height adjustable bolts at the top, but they cannot be moved forwards or backwards. The two sliders at the base of the fridge door are meant to push the furniture panel out until it is vertical with the top but they are 4mm too short, causing the door to slant inwards at the bottom. See image. I will add some rubber washers and longer screws to push the door our another 4mm, and them move the whole fridge unit back by 4mm to make it vertically flush with the other units.Other reviews of this fridge stated it was quiet. Mine is at least three times louder than any other fridge I have bought and goes on for a considerable length of time before stopping, to the point where you are more aware of when it has stopped. Even when it is only set to a medium cold setting. Sometimes it makes a different noise, 8x louder than a normal fridge, but this is only now and again. My freezer, which works much harder, makes almost no sound, and rarely, by comparison.Lastly, the drainage system is odd, though I don't if I can call it a fault. The 'V' at the back of the fridge used to drain defrost water, channels forward under the lowest back tray shelf, causing condensation, before continuing down behind and under the vegetable tray. See image. Most fridges drain directly down at the base of the 'V'.The segmented vegetable trays are also very small by comparison to other fridges as they are divided and the fridge motor seems to take up a lot of the back space.

Well made, good quality and quiet
I bought this as a replacement for an integrated fridge that had packed up. I've only fitted two of these in my life but this one was much easier to fit than the other one. It is well constructed and smooth to handle and install. The only thing I considered prior to choosing this one was whether to go for an ice box in it or not. I chose not and bought this larder fridge and am glad I did as it has a good deal more room in it without the ice box. When operating, it is very quiet and has a good seal, so keeps the contents cold well. When fitting it, the door attachment was easy to refit the old cupboard door on as it just uses a large bracket at the upper end and comes fitted with two small brackets to the fridge door on the underside. This is a well made fridge, energy efficient and good value I give it 5 Stars.

Integrated fridge
Am really surprised at the amount of space in this integrated fridge. The initial photos online does not do it justice as to the amount it can hold. The two salad trays at the bottom are very useful although I would have preferred one wide tray instead of the two smaller ones. Would definitely recommend.

It works like a dream. It's roomy as well.
We bought this larder fridge to replace our one that shut down on us. Very similar to our last one but appears to hold more - very spacious. No problems with installation as my husband is a good all round DIY and managed well.
