If you are looking for a comic book format, this collection is not for you. However, I bought this for my grandson and he enjoys them since he is already familiar with the characters, and the stories are humourous. I would recommend.

My 4th grader discovered this series and really loved it, so I bought him this set. He was a little disappointed to find out the books are not full color (I didn't even think to look for that), but loves them anyway and is devouring the series. I'm a huge fan of anything that makes my kiddo want to read!
