Great flash, but was missing the colour filters
Quality seems good and it fits effortlessly on my 90D. I took a few test shots and the transformation of images is astonishing. Manual is somewhat vague, but that seems to be the normality for all such products. I haven't had chance yet, but there are plenty of YouTube videos that go into more depth on the operation of it. The only negative point was that the colour filters were missing. (I know these are only cheap anyway, but if they are listed as included and shown in the image they should really be provided).

Well built flash that works and is priced reasonable
Writing this over a year since purchased. Very well built flash. Worked well with both of my other half’s cannon cameras. Had all the accessories needed for our use. She’s the photographer of the household and she loved it . Been used for a lot of baby photoshoots so far and still going strong.

So far fantastic. I have used it in one event i have covered so far Its easy to use and does it job perfectly. I felt its better than v860iis or neewer z2s flashes.

Amazing flash
I wasn't too happy when Amazon managed to lose the first 860III I bought. After waiting for them to admit they had lost it and then refund my money, I eventually got a replacement.....it didn't disappoint! Well designed and built, good control layout, this really is a great piece of kit 👌

Excellent Flash
I paired the Godox V860III-S with my Sony A7 III and it’s been an excellent combination. Setup was quick, TTL exposure has been accurate, and HSS (High-Speed Sync) works exactly as expected. The flash recycles quickly, even during longer shooting sessions, and the built-in rechargeable lithium battery lasts much longer than traditional AA-powered flashes. One feature I really appreciate is the dedicated modeling light, which makes it easier to preview lighting and helps with focusing in darker environments. The controls are intuitive, and the quick-lock hot shoe makes mounting and removing the flash fast and secure. I’ve used it for portraits, indoor events, and fill flash outdoors, and it consistently delivers reliable, even lighting. It integrates well with the Sony A7 III’s autofocus system, and I haven’t experienced any connection or firing issues. If you’re looking for a powerful, dependable flash without paying the premium price of Sony’s OEM flashes, the Godox V860III-S is an outstanding value. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Super!
Habe den Blitz zu einer Alpha6400 geholt. Der Akku war mir wichtig (ist MEGA!) und eine hohe Leistung sowie entfesseltes Blitzen ohne weiteres Zubehör (die 6400 hat ja einen eingebauten Blitz als Master). Was soll ich sagen: Ist schon ein ganz schöner Klotz (bin froh, dass ich noch nen Smallrig Cage habe wegen des Grips), hat aber Leistung und Reserven ohne Ende. Sowohl vom blitzen her als auch in Punkto Akku. Ein tolles Gerät, absolute Kaufempfehlung. Und: Es ist ALLES dabei, was man so braucht! Preis/Leistung halte ich für aktuell unschlagbar.
