Wow!
Wow, it puts off so much air and doesn’t make any noise! Love how modern but industrial it looks, heavy duty and easy to install. Love that it self levels! Within 30 minutes it settles level and you don’t have to put weights on the blades! Well worth the price, so I bought another for the master bedroom!

Industrial Finish is basically splattered paint!
I had higher expectations for this fan, having other Prominence Fans already. The materials are of similar high quality, but the finish work is not very good at all. It really looks like cheap galvanized tin with paint splatters on it. Other fans I own from them are much better on finish, so perhaps it's their intentions to look this way, but it really missed the mark. I have several other industrial pieces that all somewhat match, but this fan has too much of a brand new look for it to really fit the style. The fan works well once installed, and the installation is similar to nearly all ceiling fans. The only option provided is flush mount, so you'll need to get extension poles if you want anything other than flush, or if you have vaulted ceilings like me, you'll have ho choice but to get additional parts to install it.The fan is not as powerful as another model I own from Prominence but the specifications are identical aside from the finish and style. It lacks a remote so keep that in mind, and you'll likely need to change or upgrade the lighting, as the included lighting is not sufficient to light an 18 x 20 foot room for anything other than as a mood or subtle light.

Beautiful fan, dim light kit.
I should start by mentioning that we think the ceiling fan is beautiful. We bought a 24" downrod from the hardware store since the ceiling is a bit high. Also, it should be noted that the cover of the light kit came with scratches touched up (likely from the manufacturer's quality control team at the factory). You can see a couple of them in the attached photos. We opted for the darker color of the fan blades to be facing downward. The dimmable Edison style lights look great, but don't put out a lot of light. This is my biggest gripe about this fan. Each bulb says 450 lumens, so I assume a total of 900? Whatever the numbers are, you CANNOT rely on this as the main light in any room. We replaced a broken fan with a 4 bulb light kit that could fill the entire room with light from top to bottom. This one does not and it isn't even close. For those who know numbers, we went from about 3400lm to this at 900lm aimed downward like a satellite dish (though it isn't really directional like a spotlight or anything like that). We have the fan and light on separate switches, and the light kit doesn't like being on a dimmer. If you want to put this light on a dimmer, you will probably need to modify your light kit by removing the included power limiter. If you don't, the LED lights will flicker when you get too far below full voltage. I hate that. To dim this as it domes, you have to pull chain for the light gives you 3 brightness levels. It is almost pointless to use the middle one as it is almost indistinguishable from the brightest setting. The lowest setting is quite dim, to put it qualitatively. In the end, we had to move 2 more lamps to the room to get enough light just to see ourselves in the mirror. In hindsight, we should have just gotten a different fan with a 4 bulb light kit. I'm not letting this go to waste, so we'll see what happens.I almost give this 3 stars for that, but I'm at 3.5. The ceiling fan is relatively lightweight, so I like that it is lighter than the one we replaced. The main pros are the silent operation (unless you like the white noise of a fan...) and the aesthetics. To me, the light kit is a massive letdown over the ceiling fan we replaced (not this fan's fault, but not welcomed), but they clearly listed lumens on the listing page (it says 450, but each of the included Edison style LED bulbs are labeled to put out 450 for a total of 900 lumens). I tried different brighter bulbs and everything else I could think of, but the light is all aimed downward. For that reason, brighter bulbs could only do so much. It never fills the room like we were used to. It could be fine If I'd mounted the thing higher, but then I wouldn't be able to feel the air as well. I'm still conflicted on this. The fan moves a lot of air, but is super quiet. I'll summarize the pros and cons below.Pros:-Good aesthetics-Good, quiet airflow-lightweight and fairly easy to install/assembleCons:-Provides very little additional lighting (may not be a con for some)-Downward facing light doesn't brighten an entire room no matter how bright the bulbs-Light kit will not work with a wall switch dimmer out of the box.

Moderately Powerful 52 Inch Fan
The Prominence fan was ordered for use in cooling my garage around the workbench area. This fan is the right mix of industrial style and power for use in my garage. I'm not needing a decorative fan for a sunroom or other interior room. Just one that has good power and is stable after installation. This fan meets those needs. The fan has a 52 inch blade width, and provides adequate air movement for the area I want to be cooled. Since the garage is a large garage, I will probably add another fan eventually. The blades come in 2 different colors, so they can be switched if desired. For me, it really does not matter since the fan is being used in my garage. The lights are LED with a supposed 450 lumen output per light. Frankly, they don't seem to put out that much light. It's more of a warm feeling rather than bright. Having said that, my garage is totally bright with a series of LED lights throughout the area, so the fan lights are not being used. The fan puts out a good amount of air movement, but it is not overwhelming. I did find that the fan wobbles some on the top speed, but on the lower speeds there was no wobble. I may have to go back and try to adjust to see if that is the fan or the installation. The installation was relatively easy. If one has ever installed fans previously, then this installation should be one with no issues.BOTTOM LINE: This is a good moderately powerful fan for use in a garage or small industrial setting. It could also be used in a sunroom or other areas. The lighting left something to be desired if one is wanting to use it in anything other than a warm glow type of situation. The fan is a good solution for a work area and is relatively easy to install. However, I find that the price is somewhat high for this type of fan.
