Exactly what I was looking for.
I just wanted to find an inexpensive, hard plastic vented brush with hard plastic spikes that looks exactly like this one. It was exactly what I was looking for, and the price was right. Why hard plastic? Other brushes are made of a softer, almost rubbery plastic. After a year or so, that softer material gets sticky. I don't know why, but that's why I prefer the hard plastic. This brush works great when your hair is dry or when your hair is wet. Detangles instantly.

Warning, very stiff bristles
Bought this because I thought to myself, "It's a $5 hair brush, how bad could it be?". Well, bad enough for me to return it. The issue isn't with the construction of the brush itself (it's fine, although cheap feeling... but come on, it's $5), but the materials used. The bristles are *very* stiff and it was actually painful when the bristles didn't flex against my scalp; otoh, my wife said it was fine for her.3-stars because you can't give half stars on Amazon, otherwise it'd be a 2.5. Probably fine for some people and not usable for others (like myself).

It's ok.
It combs my hair.. Hurts when I comb to hard. May be an engineering issue.

Lightweight and easy to use.
I love this hairbrush design. It is not a huge hair brush but certainly not small. I love the design for getting out tangles and ease of drying hair. Great little product for the price.

Feels like needles gouging your scalp, rips out hair in the process.
I bought this hoping I could try and use it as a dupe for a Denman brush. It didn’t work out. The ends of the bristles have these weird little button things that are so grabby. It even snagged my dry hair, so you can imagine how bad it was with wet hair. The bristles are soooo painful even though I have a very tough scalp. It’s tiny and made with hard brittle plastic, I honesty don’t know who could possibly get any good use out of this. I wouldn’t use it on my dog. Maybe a horse’s tail? That’s how coarse and straight your hair would have to be to appreciate this brush. Spend a little more and don’t waste your money, this isn’t going to work.

Much better options out there
Very stiff, hard plastic brush. The balls on the ends are too small to protect scalp and is not a pleasant experience to use. The stiffness causes each "bristle" to permanently deform during normal styling - my brush is unusable after just one use. A much better option is the Cricket Static Free Fast Flo Vent Hair Brush which has larger balls on the end of each bristle to protect scalp with just the right amount of flexibility yet firmness for styling.
