Seiko Kuota Wall Clock, Gold

My favorite Wall clock. Glows in the dark.

I bought this clock several months ago to replace the dollar store one that had stopped working, and have been pleased with it so far. Although it cost more than twice as much, Seiko is a name brand that has been around a long time and is known to be reliable, so for me it was worth the extra money. I would have given it five stars, but I feel the white numerals could have been a bit brighter to better stand out against the black background.

This clock looked nice and kept good time until it fell off the wall and broke, with glass all over. I had used a command hook that was only rated for .5 pound of weight and apparently it wasn't strong enough - it actually took paint off the wall. I do want to mention though that the second hand is a little hard to read against the background.

I bought this clock two months ago and I had to change the battery three times already. I thought it would be a reliable and lasting clock but I was wrong. I recommend going with a different brand but this particular Seiko is a total waste.

I like the sober design of the clock. Easy to install and reliable brand.

Seiko is one of my favorite clocks, I am still using one of this brand for almost fifteen years, so I will buy it again if the price is good for me.
