It Rusted
I just found my towels with an odd reddish stain on them and assumed it was makeup...it wasn't!The towel bar has rust all along the inside bar. I toke the bar off the wall and have to buy some new towels:(I will try to use a rust product and seal it.I recommend you seal this item at least once a year to prevent rusting.

This is a really nice towel bar, old world style that looks great in a modern farmhouse!

Does not appear handmade.
Very nice for the price, however it does not appear handmade. I ordered 2, and they are exactly identical, right down to the machine marks at the edges of the really tight machine made curls.My husband is a blacksmith, you can't curl steel that tight & perfect by hand. I was hoping for a more rustic appearance. They are well made, and worth more than the price, but if you want a "handmade" or "rustic" appearance, these are not it. They look like something you purchased at Lowes.

An Amish designed holder forever...
A very functional, durable towel bar. Durable is an understatement. This bar is made to stay together since the mounting arms are welded to the bar. I don't have a problem with no screws. They don't know what kind of material you're putting this thing on: drywall= mollybolts or expansion anchors. wood= wood screws; tile= expansion anchors or lead anchors, etc. To me, a little dab of flat black paint on the screws is better than a felt tip marker. Considering the excellent prices for these well made accessories, finding a holding device is minor stuff.

Great handmade quality
Love the weight and workmanship on these. So tired of the cheap brass and chrome towel bars sold at even expensive stores.These are no nonsense. Great for a cottage or country style bath.They don't come with screws (or at least mine didn't) so purchase some black screws or be prepared to paint or ink regular screws.
