Honestly this is so much like the rest of what's on the market I can't give it any better score than 3 stars. I am one of far too many with a back that gives me pain every day, all day. I have had two surgeries and overall not much better off 15 plus years after my initial injury prior to surgery. Because of this I require a bit more support to even function, this means finding something that aids my back in the day to day routine. Like many of you I find myself on the search for the elusive support.First off, The edges on the top and bottom of this roll over, and no I am not fat. Ok, I have a few extra pounds I wish I didn't, but I am a far cry from being fat and yet cannot find a back support for a reasonable sum of money that actually supports all that well. This "compression" style support has limited ability to actually support the spine to any great degree.I read all the reviews and thought this might be built differently, not even close. The flimsy plastic flat bars that run across the back portion to give some rigidity to the support are too flexible to really do much. They certainly do not keep the edges from rolling over, which causes the support to lose shape.The Velcro is good and the system to increase and decrease compression is also good, but the large Velcro tab with the hooks should have been smaller than the tab it covered. What I am saying is, The front closure has the typical hook and loop side which faces away from your body, and is also the softer material. The Hook sided tab which faces your body is far more course and is made the same size as the tab it covers, but even perfectly lined up some of those hooks will rub your skin and irritate the sanity out of you. Switching these tabs would be ideal, but they designer could have made the tab on top facing you a bit smaller as well.Overall this compression style support does help, but it takes more compression to do this that the so called "support" does. This will inevitably not be the end to my search, as it appears none of the designers have much of a clue as to what they are doing when designing a "support" for the lower back. I really don't think the designers coming up with these actually ever wear the thingsLast note, if your looking for compression support this one is better that most I've used, but keep in mind if you have even a few extra pounds in your mid-section this will roll on the edges. I think you have to be skin and bone for it not to. Oh, and the lumbar pad is gimmicky and poorly designed as well, I leave it on though because I would throw it away if I had it laying around.

Very good back brace for the money.However i am A big guy 6'2" 275lb with a decent belly. I have tried many back braces and the inherent problem for me is that they tend to roll up in front under my belly onto my belt line. They are still doing the job, it just gets uncomfortable.So far this one has resisted and is doing fine due to the construction, the straps seem to be a little wider than the last couple i have tried.I would love to see an XL version of this brace as I am at the very upper limit of its sizing and have to stretch it to the limit to secure it around the belly which means the velcro wont last as long.Overall, very well constructed and great for the price.

The description of the back brace states it fits up to 50 in. I am NO way near that size but it does not fit. I have used back braces on and off for years so I do know how to put it on. I will be sending it back. I am very disappointed.UPDATE: the company was very concerned with my problem and did everything to make me happy. I would not be afraid to purchase from them again. Not too many companies put the customer first. Thank you Epica Products.

Helps the lower back, makes the upper back hurt by forcing me into a stoop. Seems to work well for lifting purposes. My lower back is unusual because the spine bows outward. For many people it may work well. It is well made.

i'M 6'3", 345lbs. when the belt arrived, i immediately took off my shirt and "attempted" to wrap this thing around my midsection. i sucked it in and for a moment, the velcro held. but as i relaxed, the velcro gave way. this item is not easy to wear for big men.i will however say, i'm not returning it because (it is a good product). i got up the next morning so i could cut the grass and forced the belt on. if you can deal with the discomfort of the tightness around your midsection and help the belt help you, it just might be a good relationship.

I ordered this product for my dad who does heavy lifting at his workplace. He's pulled his back twice during his work as he lifts 40-50 lbs bags throughout his shift so I wanted to get a brace that was both affordable yet of good quality material. I stumbled upon this brace as it was within my budget and had pretty decent reviews. The brace shipped on time and even arrived on a Saturday which was definitely a plus for me. After a week of wearing this brace, my dad's back has drastically improved and he barely notices any pain upon lifting now. The only bad thing about this product is that it can be a tad bit bulky so if you're wearing just a regular t shirt, the brace will be noticeable. But if you wear a sweater over it like my dad does, then you can barely notice it at all. In my opinion, the aesthetics of wearing the brace is DEFINITELY outweighed by the benefits of having it on. Besides, you don't wear a brace for the looks. Overall, a very great product that I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality brace with a small budget

For the price this just can't be beat honestly.... i was quiet happy with the quality of this, it was nice and thick and made very well, works great, my only disappointment was there wasn't a size bigger but being a size 16-18 womans this fits like just barely but fits and does it's job, and as each use passed i kind of feel it stretching a little so it's more comfortably, but any size bigger this would be too small as i was at the end of the velcro but it fits n does it's job. I quit smoking after 15 years of being a smoker and because that have gained 10-15 pounds n my back is feeling it, need this so i can go on my walks to help my lungs and lose this weight and this brace is helping a ton cuz i would not be able to go on my walk without cuz the lower back pain, thank God for a inexpensive brace that works great, am very happy with it, and on amazon prime for free shipping, YESSSSSSS!!! SCORE!!!!
