Calvin Klein mens Ultra Soft Modern Modal Boxer Brief

I’ve been buying these for more than ten years, and they’ve never let me down. The modal fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, and it keeps everything supported and happy throughout the day. The fit stays consistent, the waistband holds up well, and the material feels great against the skin. They’re lightweight, breathable, and just plain reliable. After all this time, they’re still the best I’ve found — worth every penny.

I’m on my feet all day and average around 20,000 steps, so durability and comfort really matter to me. I’ve gone through a lot of different boxer brief brands over the years, and most of them wear out or rip fairly quickly. So far, these Calvin Klein boxer briefs have held up the best. They’re very comfortable, breathable, and have maintained their shape after regular wear and washing. Based on my experience, these are a solid choice if you’re active or spend long days on your feet.

If you’re looking for some high quality, soft, tough and stylish men’s underwear then look no further. I’ve been using these for years and although I’ve tried other brands none of them have the comfort of these. I’ll keep looking but it’s gonna take something special to get me to move off of these. I would rate them a solid 9 out of 10, only because I’m leaving room to hope for improvement but I’m not holding my breath.

I have been wearing "Calvins" for over 20 years, and these are not the same level quality as in the past. The material of the brief is soft and comfortable, but the waist band is made of some kind of very abrasive (and non-elastic material. After sitting at your desk and working a while, when you stand up you can feel the briefs sliding down your hips. Looking in retail stores, I see that they are now outsourcing the manufacturing to several third world countries, so no way to really know where the problem lies. Donated both packages I bought to a homeless shelter and will find an alternative brand. Bye bye Calvin

The quality of these has significant decreased. I’ve bought these black modal boxer briefs from Calvin Klein many times in the past six years or so. They’ve been my preferred underwear for comfort, fit, and style since the first time I tried them on. However, this latest pack (these) has a higher ratio of elastane to modal (13% elastane, 87% modal now, compared with 10% elastane, 90% modal on the previous pack), and the difference is bigger than I would have thought. They are tighter now (smaller), and firmer, whereas the old versions were gauzy and light, and stretched and breathed well. I liked how the older versions were snug but sagged easily; they provided some support without being suffocating. But these feel a bit cheaper, a sort of plastic feel, although they may be slightly thicker. And they are restrictive. They are still decent underwear, but I won’t buy them again. The search continues for consistently comfortable boxer briefs.

Every year my son gets a pack of these Calvin Klein Ultra Soft Modern Modal Boxer Briefs for Christmas as one of his gifts (I know underwear's not the best gift to get a person but at nearly $20/pair, I'm making it a gift!). As far as I know, he hasn't worn another brief since he started wearing these in high school - which tells me they are deserving of 5 stars. He is 6' and weighs 161 pounds, and a medium fits perfectly.
