Good viewing area and can speak to anyone in the room via your phone. A good security camera if you are away from home and you get alerts on your phone if there is movement in the room. Gives you peace of mind when you are out.

Does exactly what it says on the package and works great in the google ecosystem. We have google thermostats, doorbell and outdoor camera all feeding into google home and this is the last addition so we can keep an eye on our puppy. Work reliable and is super easy to use.

Works well! Bought as extra security and also to keep an eye on the cat when we are away! You can select option to only record and notify you when a pet has entered the room. Would definitely recommend. Easy to set up and install.

These cameras are great (when they work) the picture quality and functionality is brilliant and I'd be hard pressed to go for another brand purely because it brings it all into one app alongside the rest of my smart home devices. Alongside that the 'premium' service you can get with most cameras is really affordable with Google instead of paying a silly amount per device you pay a fairly low fee for as many devices as you have.As mentioned above, they're great when they work. I've had few issues with 1 of the 3 of these cameras I have where it just shows as not availiable which occasionally needs a reboot or worst case a factory reset which takes a few minuites, it's less than ideal but when they work, they work great.

I've got two of these and am very happy with how good they are, also the free tier of Google Home is extremely generous compared to other home security camera brands. The only problem I have ever experienced with these is I have twice had a 'person detected in your house' warning, and on each occasion when I checked the clip it was due to it getting dark in the evening and the camera switching to night vision mode, which for some reason the app mistook for movement / a person in the house.

Don't know why they changed the originals and made them worse - e.g. the QR code is no longer printed on the back - they don't work with the Nest app anymore which means that you don't get notification of moment and they are quite temperamental and mine went through a long period of not working. Rubbish - don't waste your money. They are much cheaper and better ones on the market

This is a good little camera but for established users of the NEST system it may be the one that forces you onto he Google Home app rather than the Nest app - which I personally find more user friendly as I can get to a camera view in less clicks. This camera does not work with the Nest App - so you get the choice of running all your cameras on google home or some here and some on Nest. Not a killer to move apps, just a bit of an annoyance. If you are just starting, not an issue at all, only an issue for legacy users.

This is a great camera with so many features, like only allowing notification for different detections in different zones, detecting familiar face detection so it won't keep throwing alerts from family members but will for strangers, it'll detect sounds, detect dog barking.Small but packs a punch.. excellent & very simple to install and setup, done within a few minutes.
