Great light

This light uses the premium Samsung diodes. Other companies that use them charge way more. The light is totally quiet, 40, 60, 80 and 100% selection for light intensity. It amazing on how cool the temperature is for the light output. I can put my hand on the top after being on high for hours and it's no where near hot enough to burn me. Plants are thriving under it!

So far so good…built a little room in the garage..using it for citrus trees right now.Adjustable intensity levels.

My wife got me an early Father's Day gift. The VS3000 to replace my t5's. I have to say I am really impressed. It is so bright I put it on 50% for the first day and the new growth on my plants was noticeably impressive. More energy efficient and runs a lot cooler so the fan doesn't have to work as hard also saving energy. Very impressive LED light and my plant kids are very happy. Don't tell my wife it's not a lemon tree... lol

I am writing a review on this light. I use it to grow orchids in a grow tent and this light has worked very well for me. I have had no issue flowering high light requiring orchids like Cattleyas. The original fixture I bought stopped working and the customer support from this company was excellent. I received a replacement very quickly and it works great. I have bought several fixtures from this company as my light needs keep expanding. Would recommend.

The light is nice and has LM301D LED’s which clock in at 2.8umol/J. That’s great but there are more energy efficient LEDs like LM301H. The build of this light is solid and the hardware to hang is actually the best I’ve seen. It’s mounted using two sturdy steel hangers that are attached to a hanging pole using their rope clip hangers. These rope clip hangers are much different from other ones I used and have a green button conveniently on the center of the pulley that is easy to push. The dimmer goes in 25% intervals and there is an off and a EXT slot which basically lets you use one light as a controller.I don’t know who designed this but this is basically two panels that are attached to each other. If you look closely, you will notice that on the far right, there is a higher concentration of LEDs than on the left and they really should have rotated the left panel 180 degrees so at least the light distribution was symmetric. The O in vivosun protrudes out slightly so you can kind of lay this down on rough surfaces, but the edges will still be susceptible to scuffing. The light readings are good for the amount of power this draws and I have my power meter reading 296.1 watts. Another major disadvantage is that this is not waterproof and comes with warnings. This can be an issue if humidity matters to you. To have no protection seems unreasonable.Overall, if I didn’t know any better, I would say this is a great light, but when compared to other lights in this price range, There is definitely shortcomings. For the price, there are 400 watt lights that can be dimmed to 300 to hit these readings and have the option to go higher and are waterproof as well. Also, the distribution could be a lot better and it seems like a little common sense could have greatly improved this product.

After talking with OG on my concerns after using Halides and Sodium for years decided on the VS3000.I must say once I received it and had a chance check it out I was very happy.The design and construction of this light and the LED’s used is on point.Couldn’t be happier with the amount of light this puts out and coverage area.I was so happy with this light I ordered 2 more to complete my set up.If your looking for a great affordable LED grow light look no further then Vivosun.I have no issues recommending Vivosun LED grow lights and accessories, thanks OG for your help…👍🏻

Purchased 3 of these lights and hooked them up together as instructed. Worked fine for first few months all unalived after 8 months. Went out one by one. They are all on surge protector. No one followed up after u reached out to the company.Go with another option. This one is too expensive not to last.

I ended up upgrading to this model for my 3x3 tent mostly as I wanted more light output and it's been great. Vivosun products are excellent quality.

Just installed the light. Looks great. Going from hi pressure sodium to this should dave on my power bill.. fingers crossed 🤞
